Scott has been evicted!

Our favourite boy from Macclesfield, Scott Mason has been evicted from the Big Brother House with only three days to go before the final.

A below-the-radar Floater, Scott proved himself to be a very popular housemate and, previous to this week, never found himself up for eviction, routinely scoring too few nominations to face the Borehamwood crowd. It had to happen sooner or later and, after being named in the final round of noms, he ultimately lost out in the public vote tonight.

He may have avoided having his name called during the nominations process, but that's not to say Scott had a quiet time of it over his 67 day stint. A self-professed loner who 'can't bear' to get involved with gangs, Scott skilfully avoided the divide that split the House for the bulk of the time, preferring to keep his friends close and avoid any real tittle-tattle. This aloof approach occasionally inspired accusations of duplicity, but Scott rode the waves of any troubled waters like a distinguished naval commander, only sinking at the final strait.

Scott first made an impression when he declared his admiration for housemate Arron, making it abundantly clear that he'd taken rather a fancy to the Manchester lad. They struck up an unlikely friendship, but this alliance was ultimately doomed and the two eventually fell out with a blazing row. It was an argument that rocked the House and gave us all plenty to chuckle about, with Scott labelling Arron 'a disgusting rapscallion' in a sleight that will go down in the BB history books.
Scott also had a hot-cold relationship with Luke S. The two ostensibly got on, but behind the scenes Scott was always happy to poke fun at the boy from Stoke. This was no more evident that when housemates gathered to watch scenes from The White Room, with Scott regularly delighting in taking the mickey from the comfort of the sofa.

But Scott made more friends than enemies during his time in the House and his first companion in the early days was Caroline. The well-spoken duo had fun playing Let's Pretend and enjoying the most upper class work-outs the House has ever seen, but their friendship began to fall apart as Caroline's cattiness reached fever pitch. By the time she sabotaged the shopping list with all that chocolate, their friendship was all but over.

Becky stepped into the breach before that, and with the Blackburn girl he really found a kindred spirit. The two lapsed into role-playing games seamlessly, usually packed with double entendres and sounding like a fully-formed Carry On script, often augmented by face-painting and dance.

Scott's enjoyed a range of hairstyles since moving into the bungalow. He began his time with a spiky blonde effort, which soon morphed under Conor's direction into a red wiggy affair. Soon this near-disaster was replaced with a dyed blonde crop, a hairstyle he keeps to this day.

Despite being a keen team player, Scott was never the housemate who applied himself most to tasks, but he did come good for his recent secret mission, The Final Act. Compelled to pretend that he'd been on a mole-like secret mission since Launch Night, he impressed even himself with his acting skills, causing Deana to grill him like a top detective and getting himself into all kinds of bother.

We'll miss so many aspects of Scott's character it's difficult to count them without running out of fingers. From his extensive vocabulary to his devotion to living an upper crust lifestyle, this impressive young man is an absolute individual. His stay hasn't just been adequate. It's been more than adequate. Tally ho Scott – what an enchanting housemate, we'll be bound.

Ashleigh has been evicted!

Grab your suitcase and mind your language, Ashleigh, it’s time to go.

Our potty mouthed Essex girl has clocked up almost eight weeks in the House and as one of the louder, more outspoken characters, her absence will definitely be felt - not least by lover-boy Luke S.

As one half of Lushleigh, she’s smooched her way through almost all of her 60 day residence. The couple have raised a few eyebrows with their under the cover activities, but in recent weeks housemates have started to doubt the legitimacy of their love. Ashleigh, too, has questioned her relationship citing the pair’s lack of common ground among her chief concerns. Luke S has had to persuade her his love is real but when she finally sees 'that interview with the agent', we suspect he’ll have a hell of a lot of grovelling to do.

Ashleigh says she’s not a typical Essex girl and, despite being a fully paid-up member of the fake tan crew, she dyed her golden locks brown in week one. She loves 'the banter' and can frequently be found filling housemates in with her no holds barred chat about her sexual exploits and history of dealings in the financial arena.

She's a self proclaimed party girl and has proved her 'larging it' credentials by leading sneaky late night drinks thievery missions and successfully completing the All Night Rave task. Tasks, however have been Ashleigh's downfall from time-to-time, with her refusal to face the paintball firing squad during the Gold Rush task being a low point. More recently she gave up mid-pillow fight during the Party Animals task, infuriating the boys.

Ashleigh also let the team down during The Letters Dilemmas task. Unable to bite her tongue and refrain from swearing, she lost Deana a letter from home. However, Big Brother gave her a chance to redeem herself through a secret clown task which she completed in style, allowing Deana to collect her correspondence. It was a low point in a fluctuating friendship, which went from the pair being occasional confidantes to outright enemies on the flip of a sixpence.

Ashleigh formed a brief alliance with Shievonne which brought out her cattier side, and her criticism of The Outsiders came thick and fast even after her pal left. But Ashleigh can offer a shoulder to cry on when needed and doesn’t like to see people upset. She wasn’t afraid to hand out advice and show support to housemates she thought deserved it.

Not known for her domestic prowess in the House, she compensated for this with an upbeat demeanour. A recent game of Personality Bingo revealed she considered herself bubbly, and three of her housemates agreed. Funny and confident were among the other traits chosen.

Ashleigh spent her last week in the House back with Luke S after his run in the White Room came in the end. Her boyfriend is guaranteed a place in the final, meaning the inseparable pair will have to spend at least three days apart. They'll doubtless be three days of agony for the girl from Romford, but we've all got our fingers crossed that Team Lushleigh will continue long after the series ends.

Always up for a laugh and a glass of wine, the only way is the door for our Ashleigh now. See you on other side, babe. One hundred per cent.

Day 67: Luke S reacts to BBBOTS

Whilst you were watching Big Brother's Bit on The side LIVE from the garden, we were watching the housemates react to the show. It's a glorious circle of us watching them watching what you were watching ...

And boy was it interesting!

So,  Ashleigh was shown the clip of Luke S's meeting with the 'talent agency' and it's fair to say that she wasn't best pleased – and neither was Luke S.

"Let me explain myself" he squealed behind the glass doors, trying to get his scorned girlfriends attention.

"I was in the diary room for days after that... That was taken out of context" he claimed. But was it really? It was pretty much shown as it happened; we think he may just be trying to save his bacon there.

And the housemates seem to agree, "I told you" Deana shouted when the reveal came up on the screen, evidently stating that she'd known all along that it was a 'showmance'. Whether it is or not, we're sure Luke S will have a lot of explaining to do to Ashleigh when he leaves the House.

However, there was another blow to come when he was shown the footage from 'Snuggles salon', which showed Ashleigh visibly upset – and all because he wanted his hair done. The club promoter sat silently on the sofa looking very sheepish indeed.

Not a good night for our boy from Stoke on Trent to say the least.

Meanwhile, the other housemates have been revelling in the night's event, clearly lifted by the phone calls from home and the reaction from the BBBOTS audience.

"Did that just happen?" asked Luke A.

Yes it did....

We sure there'll be lots of chat about  what went down earlier tonight, so make sure to check back for updates. You won't want to miss a thing!

Day 67: Atten-shun! The soldiers survive the final eviction.

After a very exciting double eviction, the dust has cleared and the soldiers remain.

It could have been a very different outcome; with Adam and Deana gone, Luke A would have been all on his lonesome ownsome, and probably would have retreated into silence as Lushleigh, Scott and Sara laughed, joked and swore their way to the final.

But it was not to be: the public vote saved Deana and Adam, making the soldiers the dominant group in the House.

Interestingly, after surviving her fifth eviction, Deana seemed to withdraw from the soldiers, and spent a long time talking to BB in the Diary Room whilst Adam and Luke A partied with Luke S and Sara. She soon returned to the soldiers' bosom, though, and it was smiles all round.

Though there's only three days left until the final, it will certainly be very interesting to see how things develop. Will Luke S and Sara become soldiers, or will Adam and Luke A desert Private Deana at the last minute?

Only time will tell...

Day 67: Round-up

Day 67 was a big day - The second biggest if you include the finale, or maybe the 3rd biggest after the launch night, or rather controversially the 4th if you put the first eviction above it. Well, basically wherever you put the final eviction in the importance rating stakes, it was a big day.

And so what a better way to ease the tension of such an eventful day than to introduce a really creepy clown called 'Mr Snuggles'. Good work Big Brother. Yes, some of the housemates got acquainted with the anti-entertainer, in a selfless deed to win some pampering for their fellow semi-finalists.

First-up was Ashleigh, who took the fall for boyfriend Luke S by getting a fishy hair wash courtesy of Mr Snuggles and thus winning her beau a cut and colour with a top stylist. What's that you say - something about the lost art of chivalry? Suffice to say the pair had a few words over his less than gentlemanly behaviour, which Adam and Luke A deemed to be part of their 'gameplan'. An interesting theory there.

The other boys - Scott, Luke A and Adam,  also had appointments at 'Snuggles Salon', with Scott failing to win a treatment for Sara after washing off his 'special snuggles tan'and the latter two winning Deana a facial and mani pedi.

Once all the proper pampering was over and done with, it was time for the housemates to get involved in the long and arduous task of preparing for the evening's evictions. Seriously, they take a ridiculously long time getting ready – but hey, when they look this good, who cares?

And then came the moment we were all waiting for, as Brian announced who would be the tenth and eleventh evictee from the Big Brother House. Although it was a shock to many, Scottwas the first to be evicted, shortly followed by his chumAshleigh.

There wasn't much time for the housemates to react to the news, however, as they were invited to a very special episode of Big Brother's Bit On The Side which was screened live from the garden. Watching from behind the glass doors, the housemates looked on as Emma showed their highs and lows, spoke to their loved ones on the phone and interviewed their recently departed housemates – Ashleigh and Scott.

The housemates were so shocked that they couldn't muster  many words – well apart from when Emma showed Ashleigh the clip from the 'talent agent' task, which caused a few raised eyebrows from the housemates and resulted in a rather annoyed girlfriend. Luke S's get-out clause? "It was taken out of context". Hmm you may want to start thinking of a better excuse before Monday Lukey boy.

As you would imagine, the housemates spent the rest of the evening discussing the night's events and congratulating each other for making it to the finale.  All of the housemates went to sleep on a high, apart from a disillusioned Luke S who sadly kissed a picture of Ashleigh before retreating to the land of nod. How touching...

But what is going to happen on the last Saturday in the House? We want to know now!
