Day 64: Round-up

It's quite clear that the housemates have wound down as the series comes to a close, and the morning of Day 64 was a fine example of this. We noticed that there was a distinct lack of conversation going on, which made us ponder - Is this lack of chit-chat evidence of some tactical game playing, or have they just simply run out of things to say?

The only action we got from the formative part of the day was a collision between Scott and Deana as he flapped his way to the Diary Room, and Luke A got heavy with a broom in the kitchen. Not mind-blowing stuff, but amusing all the same..

However, Big Brother got the housemates moving in the afternoon by introducing this week's task, called 'The Big Brother Museum'. Curators, Scott and Sara, were duped into thinking they were watching the other housemates, who had morphed into exhibitions, standing still in the museum - when really they were living it up in a secret chamber.

Whilst the curators believed that the task relied on thempicking up on any movements from the 'inanimate objects', it actually fell on the Exhibitions to successfully hide the fact that they were having the best time of their lives.

Alas, some over-zealous singing during a silent disco gave their game away and the beady eyes of Sara unraveled the secret mission. Therefore the housemates failed the task and it was up to Big Brother to reveal to the housemates that they will be living on a basic budget for their final week. Ah well, at least they tried... If not very hard.

The evening ended with a bit of bickering between 'best friends' Scott and Sara, over Scott’s plan to monopolise his excellent conversational skills.

And there endeth the last Tuesday in the Big Brother House. For these housemates at least.

Big Brother 2012 double eviction confirmed

Big Brother 2012 eye

Two housemates will be booted out of the Big Brother 2012 house in this week’s final eviction.

Four housemates face the axe in Friday night’s semi-final, with the two housemates with the fewest public votes being booted out just days before Monday’s final.

After Monday’s last round of nominations, Adam, Ashleigh, Deana and Scott are all up for eviction.

Bookies are currently tipping Scott and Ashleigh for the axe, while Deana is set to be saved for a fifth time this series.

“Deana is up again but is a certainty to stay and fight to win the show. Ashleigh’s time has been running out for the last few weeks, she has just been lucky that there have been other people like Caroline and Becky that the public wanted out a tiny bit more than her,” said William Hill spokesman Mark Young.

The pair are also currently bottom of our eviction poll by some margin, with Adam and Deana commanding an impressive 80% of the vote between them.

Day 65: They're all in the dog house

With their days now numbered, housemates have been spending more time day dreaming about life outside...

Ashleigh has been missing her pooches and can't wait to see them. This longing led to a fervent discussion about dogs. She’d like her and Luke S to have one but she's not sure what the breed of dog she likes is called.

Sara wants to get a big dog but she’d really like a Pomeranian, which is - in her words - "a small dog." Eitherway, the Scot is going to get a girl dog called Luella, definitely. She’d also quite like a Red Setter.  If she is going to go by the old adage that pets look like their owners, then this might be the beast for her.

Deana would like a Rottweiler. Luke S wants a Lhasapoo. This just sounds uncomfortable.

Luke S turned to Scott – the unofficial House oracle – and asked; "what is the type of dog that is really clever? The one that is known for opening doors?"

Opening doors? This hound's owners must have Mensa on speed dial.

Scott tried to educate Sara on why a Pointer is called a Pointer. She really wasn’t interested - she is not intending to do any hunting with her fantasy mutt...
