Day 60: Wardrobe dramas and bikini shoots

It’s eviction night and talk in the House has been dominated by what-ifs.

Ashleigh flipped out because, if her time is up tonight, she has "nothing to wear". Big Brother cheered her up in the Diary Room and Adam gave her a hug which seems to have made everything better. Housemates have been uncharacteristically chummy as they countdown the evicting hour, even briefly gathering as a whole group in the smoking area without being told to by BB.

Sara and Deana have been discussing the future. The former said if she was to go out tonight, she wouldn’t be posing topless for any well known lads mags – although she would do a bikini shoot. Her moral bar is clearly set seriously high.

The pair discussed what would happen if Luke S didn’t come back into the House, with Deana saying; "it would be a real talking point if he didn’t say goodbye to his girlfriend." We think that is something of an understatement. What if Ashleigh and Luke S both leave? Tomorrow he could actually take her for dinner somewhere more exotic than the living room sofa.

Sara said she has given up speculating. Clearly she is applying the same dedication to this as Ashleigh has to giving up cigs.

The suitcases have arrived and the fake tan and eye lash application has begun. There’s still time to save your fave...

Day 60: Conor's not in it to win it

The White Room is not known for its wall-to-wall action so when Conor began pouring his heart out we leaned in closer. It's noteworthy that the majority of his thoughts were expressed while he was wearing a an eye-mask he'd created from a towel. Conor loves to put things on his head. It's a niche interest but one we support unreservedly.

"I want to do it for me family and me gurul," Conor announced.

Earlier, he and Luke S had been asked by Big Brother to state three reasons why they, rather than their opponent, should win a pass to the final.  Conor's reasons were still playing on his mind and he went into something close to an electioneering spiel.

"It's not about winning, I don’t give a flying f**k about winning although the money would change my life," he revealed to a prone Luke S.

The Denis the Menace lookalike is more concerned with all the money his significant others have laid down on the four occasions he has been up for eviction. Flying to and from Derry ain't cheap. He reckons he could relax and enjoy himself more if he knew he had immunity until the final.

"The only friends I have in here are you and Ash," he told Luke S who was either listening intently or nodding off.

But is Conor's enthusiasm to say till the final beyond the purchase of ÂĢ50k? He's already admitted that a lump sum would change his life. Stay tuned to see how he reacts to Big Brother's big twist.

Day 60: Becky has been evicted!

It's the final curtain for drama student Becky as she loses out to Ashleigh, Deana and Luke A in the public vote.

Last into the House, Wildcard Becky certainly made a grand entrance, as she ran in shouting "come on ya b******s!", before throwing herself in to the pool fully clothed. She definitely set the bar in those opening minutes, and she hasn't disappointed with her outlandish personality since. Whether it's singing songs about chicken nuggets or getting into the character of an elephant, Becky showed that she's a true performer at heart.

But it wasn't all high-kicks and jazz-hands during her stint in the House.  She managed to nark-off bouncer Chris quite soon after her arrival, and the pair became sparring partners until his early exit from the House. We’ve also seen her feisty side during various altercations in the House, most memorably with combatant Arron and more recently with Welsh chef, Luke A. And even though the Bolton lass prides herself on being a happy-go-lucky type of gal, she wasn’t averse to a good bitching session now and then.

However, even when in sparing mode, she still managed to bring a touch of humour to the argument in the only way Becky can, with her over-the-top mannerisms and hilarious retorts. Who can forget the moment she branded Arron a "big mean green machine" mid rant – an excellent diss you may agree. Although we're sure her skirmishes will only register as a fleeting part of her overall experience...

We think Becky deserves kudos for throwing herself in to the tasks –  whether it was scurrying around a maze dressed as a rat, eating fermented tofu or falling flat on her face whilst trying to exchange rubber rings, she showed she was always up for a laugh.

Needless to say, Becky will leave a void in the House – if not only for the amount of decibels she managed to create. She'll certainly be missed by BFF Scott, who having just lost close chum Caroline, will now have the double blow of not having his role-playing partner in crime.

So, let's wave a fond farewell to our Becky. Who knows, we may see her on the small screen again very soon!

Day 60: Conor has left the House!

Self-proclaimed "sexiest 25-year-old in Derry", wearer of tutus and fervent karaoke maniac, Conor has left the House tonight following the White Room task with ÂĢ50,000 to cushion the fact of his early departure.

Ex-housemate Arron's best mate and partner in pranks has always shown more energy than a packet of jumping beans, whether by dropping and doing 'the worm' at a moment’s notice or in throwing himself whole-heartedly into the tasks. In earlier weeks he proved himself to be a valuable asset by winning Confusing Cuisine, playing a blinder when given sole control over a luxury shopping budget and then seriously showing  Adam who was boss in the trolley dash.

In fact Conor has contributed a lot to tasks, taking on the role of sheriff in the Gold Rush task, raving into the early hours with Ashleigh and Deana during the Party Animals task and giving us a good glimpse of his bare bum after getting called into the Safe Zone mid wash-down during the Rules Are For Fools task.

However, the task that will colour not just his time in the House but a good stretch of his time afterwards is The White Room. He and Luke S saw off Sara chasing after what they believed to be a pass to the final. But after four days of white food, white walls, cold showers and only the cheesiest housemate ever for company, Conor took his chance to cash in, prizing the money made available in the surprise twist ahead of a chance to go for gold.

It's fair to say that Conor always spoke his mind in the House, but his inability to hold his tongue at times led to several arguments with his fellow housemates, mostly notably Deana and Becky. This resulted in the 'Con man' losing popularity in and out of the House.

But the light-hearted side of Conor has been caused his hoard of fans no end of joy and has also been responsible for a range of unadvisable clothing choices. During week one, the pink tutu came out for any old reason and he has sported the prerequisite onsie, a woman’s swimsuit and a superhero outfit made of binbags. Whatever your verdict from a fashion point of view, you have to admit that one was resourceful.

Working out has been a regular part of his House routine but Conor’s real talent is, apparently, the ability to wrap his member roun,d his wrist. What a tragedy that he has left us before showcasing this notable skill.

After Arron departed he buddied up with fellow fitness freak and White Room incarceratee Luke S and the pair spent many a moment grooming each other with Luke S plucking Conor’s brows being a regular sight and their shared silly sense of humour keeping them sane during the long dull hours in the White Room. He also formed an unlikely alliance with Caroline through a shared love of stirring up mischief.

Conor leaves tonight after surviving four evictions - the 'luck of the Irish' combined with a hairless physique has caused him to slip through the neck and emerge, if not with the BB crown, then certainly with a hefty consolation prize.

Congratulations, Conor. At least Derry will have the newly-minted jewel in its crown safely home.

Day 60: And then there were seven

Did you see that one coming? Luke S certainly didn’t.

Conor snatched the ÂĢ50k and a fast track out of the House from the fingertips of his fellow White Room resident, leaving Luke S reeling.

This may just have been Big Brother’s most heart breaking moment to date as Luke S, reaching the climax of his ‘one Mississippi, two Missippippi countdown, went to press the button but was pipped at the post by Conor, leaving our often shirtless Stokie in tears.

The housemates watching on the big screen in the living room were in shock. Scott said, "That was crazy."

Ashleigh was close to blubbing herself – not because her lover boy was willing to jump ship with half the prize money but because he had been trying to make the ultimate sacrifice.

"He didn’t want Conor to push the button because he wanted him to go to the final," she said.

Scott was incredulous. "He’s not crying because his friend has not got to the final," he said, "He’s crying because Conor got the wonga."

In amongst all this drama housemates briefly forgot another housemate had left the House. Remember Becky? Our Blackburn lass left the house in her own unique style – loudly but those up for eviction were more concerned by their own reprieve.

Speaking to Ashleigh, Sara did say, "I am really sad Becks has gone. I really didn’t want her to go." Ashleigh’s response, "Hmmm."

Barely able to hide the glee in his voice, Luke A said, "What a quiet house it’s going to be without Conor and Becky."

After tonight’s drama, we’re not so sure.

so close rose - another few seconds and they would have lost the chance and would have both been back in the house and rightfully evicted the correct way next week or in the first lot of the final line up

I hate that he got cheered - last years winner fought his way full term - won every obstacle thrown at him and came out as the first winner ever to get booed - it was disgusting

Conor chose to push the button - he won - but he didnt deserve the cheers tonight

I was gobsmacked he came out to cheers!!! why???? I heard Luke S say he was "played" by Conor, and he was at the last second. Luke S won't win and will remember for a long time that he lost the chance of K50 cos he trusted his "friend"
