12.37am: The HMs are having a heated debate over... footballers. Lots of opposing views flying around

12.51am: Conor is chin-wagging with Big Brother in the Diary Room. It's hard to take him serious with his face-painted smile.

1.05am: "I've got two or three different ways of loving" Ashleigh professes. What does that mean!?

Day 55: Becky paints happiness

To absolve Becky's sins and to banish misery from the House, the drama student was earlier told that she must bring joy to all the Housemates by painting 'happy smiles' on their faces.

Although the results of her face-painting attempts were rather scary looking, the false smiles may have actually done the trick and united the House in a state of happiness.

For the first time in a very long while, the housemates have spent the evening sitting around the living room, chatting and joking - just generally getting on. The bitching has been replaced with light-hearted banter, hugs from Adam and lots of massages courtesy of Conor.

Even his feuding partner, Deana, has been treated to a special hand rub courtesy of the Irishman. And what's more, she enjoyed it.

We know we should be revelling in this rare show of 'oneness', but it's almost too much to comprehend. Can you imagine a Big Brother House where everyone just got on?

Ah, we can always dream...

Week 8: Round-up

The week started off in a glorious blaze of sunshine and the good weather seemed to rub off on the remaining ten. The housemates restrained from their usual pre-eviction bitching sessions, and instead, channelled their energies into taking in some rays, while enjoying a bit of exploding watermelon action later in the afternoon.

However, the boat was soon to be rocked in the evening, when the housemates discovered that every person who received at least one vote was to face the public vote this week - meaning only Becky and Scott were exempt from eviction. Controversial news indeed.

On Tuesday, the housemates proved their party animal credentials, as they bouncedpillow-fighteddined and ravedtheir way closer to that sought after luxury budget. There was lots of larks during their various soirees and the housemates seemed to have a jolly good time - apart from when Ashleigh accused Luke S of whiffing of onions that is. Needless to say, Luke S was not a happy chappy, and for once he put his foot down - well for about ten minutes at least. It wasn't long before Lushleigh were back in each other's arms, PDA-ing all over the shop.

The task rolled onto Wednesday, where the parties took a grown-up turn. Luke S and Scott got stuck into a bit of politics, as they thrashed it in out in a game plan debate. Scott's assured rhetoric saw him storm to victory, and in his triumph, he suggested that it wasn't a coincidence that Luke S had been chosen to argue in favour of game plans, if you get his drift...

However, it was the office politics that caused the most controversy, to the point that Adam even called his friendship with Deana into question. The beef? Deana's apparent foul play in the pictionary task - a crime worth breaking friendships over, of course. They soon kissed and made-up when Big Brother revealed the true nature of the task, which left Adam with a very red face.

And then came the big news of the day - the housemates were told that they had won a luxury budget for the week... High-fives all around.

Thursday was destined to be a fruitful day, as the housemates got the chance to go wild with their luxury budget. Which they did, until Caroline left them 'mooooortified'with her 'hillllarious' stunt - Yes the classic sabotaging of the shopping list. Who wins in the prank state - last year's Harry Blake or Caroline? You decide...

Oh and we learnt that the biggest cheeseface was Luke S after all.

Friday was a big day for the Insiders - Not only was it Conor's 25th birthday, but it also saw the departure of one their main players, Caroline. Whilst the Irish fitness instructor enjoyed afootball themed party - thanks to a few porky pies, Caroline was treated to a sea of boo's as she left the most famous bungalow in the land. A day of two halves indeed.

And we even saw an argument erupt between best budsDeana and Sara - over Caroline of all things. They've since made up, but it shows that relationships can be ever so tender in the House.

With Caroline gone, housemates could natter about her without risk of her overhearing on Saturday. While Sara and Deana attempted to iron out their differences, Becky kept hervow of silence and refused to budge even when the topic of Lydia and her oh-so-famous fiancÃĐ was thrown into the mix.

Later in the day, the Housemates patience was well and truly tested when Big Brother set them the 'Standing on the Shoulders of Prizes' task. Adam became the main man of the event, having secretly chosen the prizes for the housemates and eventually winning his coveted TV, after standing on the box for an impressive 12 and a half hours.

After such a late night, Big Brother gave housemates a bit of a lie in on Sunday. Luke S, who has shown himself to be a bit of a fan of winning in the past, told anyone who would listen that he quit the task so Adam could win the television. He also said he realised he could buy any of the prizes for himself when he got out of the House. Shame it took him 12 hours to realise this one.

The housemates spent the rest of their day confessing their Big Brother sins in order to win a Sunday roast with all the trimmings - which they did to Big Brother's satisfaction. However, the big boss man decided that they had confessed a rather large quantity of misdemeanours, and were therefore ordered to absolve their sins. Cue scary face-painting, lots of hugs and Ashleigh's attempt at cooking - summed up, a rather pleasant way to end an extremely busy week.

Big Brother 2012: Nominations day for the last time!

Big Brother 2012 Diary Room chair

It’s the final round of Big Brother 2012 nominations today, as we approach the final.

This week will see another twist, as Big Brother bans all housemates from nominating.

Instead, it’ll the friends and family of the remaining housemates who get to nominate.

One ‘representative’ of each housemate will nominate two others, giving reasons via the plasma in the living area.

The twist was originally carried out in last year’s series, so it seems Big Brother is quickly running out of new ideasâ€Ķ

And in another twist, this week is set to see a double eviction on Friday night.

It’s sure to be a hectic few days, with only two weeks to go until the big final.

We really can’t call who will face eviction this week with the friends and family nominating, will they play tactical and nominate the favourites?

As always, we’ll have the latest nomination news as and when it happens later today..
