Day 51: Round-up

The housemates had a very rude awakening on Day 51, as the 'Party Animal' task continued. With the clock counting down, the housemates rushed to the Big Ben statue in the living room to sing 'Auld Lang Syne' before the clock struck midnight. We would feel sorry for them, but who doesn’t like that New Year’s Eve feeling? We think every day should start that way.

The festive feelings were short lived, however, when Sara got into a spat with Caroline over a well known fast food chain, and it's rather peculiar location. Let's just say we don't think the gap year student picked up on the fact that Sara was extremely peeved - despite Miss Edinburgh's efforts.

However, there were more pressing matters at hand later in the day, as Big Brother brought a touch of politics to the House. Party leaders Scott and Luke S had to argue for and against gameplans to their fellow housemates, culminating in a ballot vote at the end. The task prompted Scott to comment that it wasn’t a coincidence that Big Brother had chosen Luke S over the other housemates to argue in favour of gameplans. Slandering your opponent? A cheap tactic indeed, Scott.

With the vote done and dusted, the housemates were invited to yet another party - this time a much loved British institution, the good ol' office party. ‘Bosses’ Adam, Scott and Sara battled it out to become 'office legend' in a series of health and safety approved games. Sara was crowned the victor - which was lucky really, because she was on a secret mission and the housemates would have failed this part of the task if she hadn't.

Her win didn't exactly go down too well with the other housemates, however, as they branded Sara and her PA  Deana 'cheats'. The biggest sore loser was Adam, who even called his relationship with Deana into question - a bit drastic you might agree.

Alas, the friends soon kissed and made-up when Big Brother revealed the true nature of the office task, and the housemates were sweetened further by the news that they had won a luxury budget this week. Hurrah!

But if you think the good news meant a contented House, you'd be wrong. We still had bickers between Sara and Becky before the night was over and the Insiders still can’t seem to be in the same room as the Outsiders.

Some things will never change....

Day 52 in the Big Brother house .....

8.15am: We can confirm that Adam and Luke A are not still up. This goes for all. Housemates are catching up on some Zs

8.38am: They're still sleeping like the little angels they aren't.

8.59am: Becky is awake but showing no signs of getting up. Everyone else seems to be sound asleep still.

Morning all

Big Brother 2012's Scott Mason given another warning in the Diary Room

Scott [Big Brother 2012)

Big brother housemate Scott Mason has been given another warning in the Diary Room.

Big Brother has previously warned Scott that he risked getting ejected from the house, having been warned twice before.

Bosses cautioned Scott first on his drinking, after being spotted downing aftershave, and then after comments he made about fellow housemate Deana and her Indian culture.

Scott was given a third telling off this week after threatening to slap Becky after the pair got into a drunken row.

Becky had claimed Scott was drunk and becoming an alcoholic, to which Scott retorted: “I’d come over there and slap you if I was.”

He ranted: “I find people annoying. I’ve never heard so much sh*t in all my life. Just f*** off you tw*ts.”

And he added: “It’s the truth, bitch. Just kick me out of the house.”

Scott was “reminded” about the rules regarding behaviour the Big Brother house after being called to the Diary Room.

But BB didn’t count this latest telling off as an “official” warning.

Conor, Caroline, Deana and Ashleigh have all also been warned throughout the current series of the show.

why haven't we been shown any of these warnings about scott and his drinking i saw him spray aftershave in his eyes before but that was to make it look like he had been crying for a task and surely BB would have stopped him drinking all the cans that had been delivered into the storeroom and where was all the other HMs cause normally they all run to the storeroom as soon as BB announces booze

Day 52: Sunbed wars

The sunshine can bring out the best in our housemates and a calm has definitely descended over the garden but this serenity looked set to be shattered by a coveted spot by the pool.

The ladies have been soaking up the rays but Deana was faced with every holiday maker’s worst nightmare – the person who has put their towel on the last sun bed and departed poolside.

With just three loungers to squabble over, we are surprised this problem hasn’t blown up before.

Deana threw etiquette to the wind, flinging herself onto Becky’s bagsied bed. When our Northern lass returned from the Diary Room she was less than pleased and pulled a proper cheese face. Sara offered to sacrifice her own prized adjoining position but Becky flopped onto the floor instead.

Deana feigned deafness and continued to top up her tan in comfort.

This kind of behaviour is rarely tolerated in the House and with eviction night looming, could easily turn into a full blown battle. We’ll keep you posted.

In the meantime, Ashleigh lightened the mood by observing just how great it was that the sun starts of in one position and ends up in another. We think it’s just dandy too.
