6.47pm: Becky and Scotts' secret task is over. And they haven't done very well. âŠ
6.53pm: Scott found one token. Luke S has won a Chinese takeaway. He doesn't like Chinese food. âŠ
2.39pm: The HMs are moaning about making their beds. Oh they do have it hard don't they!?
2.56pm: Scott is flossing and applying bronzer.
3.02pm: Caroline almost had a panic attack thinking they hadn't ordered chocolate spread on the shopping list. Oh the lark!
For Pete's sake....chocolate spread!
I'd be looking for a couple dozen eggs instead.
7.05pm: Becky's tapping a glass impatiently on the couch. It looks like failing the secret mission's getting to her. âŠ

What a surprise

So would I. To pelt her with
7.15pm: Scott and Becky think Luke S is furious about the mission failure. They're in the bedroom worrying about his reaction. âŠ
Evening all
thanks for the updates this afternoon Scotty and Velvet
I am in and around now
7.24pm: Scott and Becky talk to Caroline who - you're not going to believe this - has a towel on her head.
5.01pm: The HMs have been ordered to spring clean the House and have been given white overalls for the occasion.
too soft BB cleaning should be part of the experience and punished if not done without being told to - bring back Alex Sibley I say
7.36pm: Luke S is considering giving away his Chinese cuisine - but will BB dish out a punishment if he does, he ponders? âŠ
*Becky gets into sprint position*
Evening MrsH
Thanks
7.50pm: Luke A, Adam and Caroline are talking about horror films. Adam's quite the gorehound, it seems.
Amidst all the bad feeling in the House, Big Brother made a token effort to lighten the mood.
The road to hell is, so they say, paved with good intentions and BB's grand gesture ultimately fell flat. But housemates only really have themselves to blame. Or at least, they've got Scott to blame, as he was the one that spectacularly dropped the ball on this one.
When the 'Token play at that game' task began, most housemates thought this was simply Big Brother's way of making cleaning up the House fun. Provided with mp3 players to make a proper tidy up far more fun, the gang were all in fine fettle, bouncing around as they turned squalor into a spick and span living environment.
But then Becky's part in the secret task began, with BB informing her via her music system to start hiding eleven tokens (individually plastered with one housemate's mug) around the House to win a Chinese takeout. Unbeknownst to her, Scott was given his own instructions and had to find the coins that Becky had planted about the place. The better Becky hid those tokens, the harder Scott's job would be.
It turned out Scott's job was very hard indeed. After an hour of cleaning and bouncing around to selected pop and rock tracks, the housemates handed back their gadgets and waited for an announcement from Big Brother.
Hooray! Becky successfully secreted 11 tokens!
Boo! Scott only found one of them.
The upshot of all this is that only Luke S gets himself a Chinese Takeaway tonight. And he doesn't even like Chinese food.
Oh dear, Scott.
Despite his best efforts, Scott only found one token
Becky thoroughly enjoyed her secret task
Luke S customised his overalls to showcase his guns
Squeaky clean Lauren was at home with this task
7.53pm: Luke A thinks the end of The Blair Witch Project was an anti-climax. The philistine.
8.02pm: There's a rare spirit of togetherness at the moment. All but Scott and Becky chat in the Living Area. Walls have tumbled.
Back in a bit
'arf a mo'! What did Luke S do to deserve the takeaway then?! Oh yeah. Talking politely to Luke A I guess.
The Big Brother UK housemates nominated face to face yesterday, with Luke A and Lauren put up for eviction.
But who nominated who, and what (rather poor) reasons did they give as they voted in front of one another in the garden?
Confident and posed, Conor declares his first nomination is for Deana; âSheâs devious, sneaky and we donât get alongâ. Drawing a card from the pile, his second nomination is for Lauren. His reason for this nomination is Lauren telling Big Brother that Conor, Ashleigh and Caroline had been talking about nominations.
Caroline is next to stand up in front of fellow housemates and nominates Luke A. She asserts that he thinks she is âridiculousâ and this makes her feel âanxiousâ. She says; âI donât want to feel self â conscious about my actions. I genuinely get too anxious about thingsâ. Her second nomination is for Lauren; âI think youâre a nice personâ, she smiles, âbut sometimes I just think you impulsively speakâ.
Luke S nominates Lauren. Taking to the floor in front of fellow housemates he speculates that Lauren may be âgoing behind everyoneâs backâ seeing as she told Big Brother about Conor, Caroline and Ashleigh talking about nominations. His second nomination is for Luke A as he feels that he has shown âhateâ towards him and âfails to give him eye-contactâ.
Sara nominates Luke A; âSometimes you make me feel that you donât like meâ she says. Seemingly troubled, her second nomination is for Lauren. Her reason for this nomination is because she is dubious of Lauren âgoing behind peopleâs backsâ. Despite this, Sara reassures a smiling Lauren and says; âI do. I do like you â and Iâm sorryâ.
Calm and collected, Scott nominates Lauren. Unscathed, he declares âYou prove too extreme emotions of temper which can be slightly unnerving at timesâ. Deana is the next housemate to be nominated by Scott. He turns to her and says; âSome of your behaviour is slightly irritating â little things that are irritatingâ.
Adam stands and nominates Caroline. Turning towards her, he explains; âOur relationship has been better but you do say stuff that hurts my feelingsâ. His second nomination is for Ashleigh, deeming her attempt at the task as poor; âI know you were scared, but she put us in a position to quit and we got disqualifiedâ.
Ashleigh nominates Lauren; âShe went behind our backs and discussed what me, Conor and Caroline had said about nominations. It was sneaky and snidelyâ. Her second nomination is for Deana; âThis week there was just too much personality change. It emotionally drained meâ. Acknowledging Deana, Ashleigh says; âI donât know whether youâre coming or goingâ.
Surprised, Deana laughs awkwardly and continues with her nominations. Her first nomination is for Conor âNo surprise thereâ she quips. âI know he doesnât like me. He thinks I am sly and sneaky but we havenât had a conversation so he doesnât know what my personality is likeâ she exclaims. Seemingly abrupt, Deana nominates Ashleigh; âI feel our conversations are a bit forcedâ. The group laugh in response to her nomination choices.
Becky nominates Luke A because during the âSpaghetti Westernâ task he only managed to eat one piece of spaghetti. âAnd you say Caroline doesnât try!â she says sarcastically. Luke A interjects defensively; âI donât like spaghettiâ. Becky responds; âIn your head weâd already failedâ. Her second nomination is for Lauren; âYou moan a lot about bacon and cigarettesâ, the group chuckle, âbut 80% of the time you are greatâ she proclaims.
Self-assured, Lauren nominates Caroline. âItâs mad weâre the same age, but we act so different. I think sheâs immature and insensitive at timesâ. Her second nomination is for Becky; âI just think you were insensitive the other day when people were trying to sleep in the bedroomâ. Becky speaks up and argues âIt was during the day!â
Finally, it is Luke Aâs turn to nominate and he chooses Caroline; âShe has a way of whispering about people and when I walk into a room, she makes me feel really uncomfortable. Itâs a bit too much when you are mimicking my friends, then you apologise, and you expect everyone to be okayâ. His second nomination is for Becky labelling her as âinsensitiveâ. He continues; âShe did this fruit Olympics thing when everyone was trying to sleep. It was really insensitive. It makes me feel a little bit pissed off. Weâre just meant to lie back and it f**** me offâ.
Lauren accumulated seven nominations and Luke A received four.
Both will face the public vote this week.
The nominations and subsequent fallout air tonight on Channel 5 from 10PM.
Back in a bit
8.10pm: Luke S is in the Diary Room eating his take away. For someone who doesn't like Chinese food, he is certainly tucking in.
'arf a mo'! What did Luke S do to deserve the takeaway then?! Oh yeah. Talking politely to Luke A I guess.
nothing Becky had to hide 11 tokens each with a HM's face on it - Scott had to find them - he found only 1 assumably LukeS's token pic and the prize was takeaway
I think that is correct but I have only just logged on and havnt read back fully yet
8.20pm: An unfortunate result of the mp3-based task is an outbreak of earworms.
HMs continuously sing half-remembered songs.

Ah! Ta! That makes sense, although I couldn't find a ref to it upthread.

Oh dear, Scott.
8.33pm: Luke S is still eating that Chinese meal. A clean plate's not going to convince us he hates that particular cuisine.
8.42pm: Luke S emerges from the Diary Room with a full belly. Caroline, Scott, Becky and Lauren are chatting in the bedroom.
8.49pm: The store room's open and the gang have snapped from snooze to snacking in seconds
8.52pm: Caroline and Lauren are trying to build bridges in the garden.
Caroline is wearing a towel on her head.
9.08pm: Luke S and Conor have a whisper about their disatisfaction at the food choices.
Conor's definitely pinching some biscuits.
9.17pm: Lauren and Sara are in the Diary Room together.
They don't look happy.
9.28pm: Lauren and Sara have been given t-shirts to wear by Big Brother in an effort to stop them talking about nominations.
9.39pm: Lauren's spending some quality time with âŠ#Lushleigh⎠-
we've got some real mingling going on tonight
Hi again everyone just caught up again, many thanks I love this, he told it like it is
Finally, it is Luke Aâs turn to nominate and he chooses Caroline; âShe has a way of whispering about people and when I walk into a room, she makes me feel really uncomfortable. Itâs a bit too much when you are mimicking my friends, then you apologise, and you expect everyone to be okayâ

Not sure what is worse, the sight of her in a towel, or the sight of her hair..well basically it's just the sight and sound of her in any circumstance

Oh dear, well at least it's not Deana as well
9.08pm: Luke S and Conor have a whisper about their disatisfaction at the food choices.
Conor's definitely pinching some biscuits.
So have they run out of protein shakes, selfish pair
