Not good for Hayfever sufferers.

Flowers?
It's a wreath. It's part of their "funeral" theme for the trailers.Oh, I see!
Womder if they'll give it a decent burial?

It's to tie-in with this story: http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/bi...uneral-pictures.htmlApparently the ads will culminate with the shot of the diary-room chair being lowered into a grave...
I remembered as soon as Eugene's Lair said it, but I didn't get that from the flowers.... they look too 'happy' or summat

Actually, I know what you mean. I think they've been treading a fine line here: The whole "funeral" theme that they've chosen implies a mournful tone, but they won't want anything too subdued - it's still a gameshow, after all...There have been stories that the "funeral" caused other problems: they filmed it in a real graveyard where apparently a genuine funeral was taking place, and the mourners weren't too happy about the antics of some of the ex-HMs...

Jeeeze, can you imagine that? Burying a loved one while those wannabe goons are playing up next to the ceremony

That's awful if it's true, how insensitive

The Daily Star reported that and Spencer (BB3) responded by saying no such thing happened and that they started filming when the 'genuine funeral' was finished.Reference Rawky-Roo 2,033 Forum PostsToday at 12:46:

Ah well, that puts things in a different perspective. If I'd known it was a Daily Star story, I wouldn't have mentioned it in the first place - not even as a "rumour"...Spenser was actually quoted in the original Star article as saying "No-one expected a real Âfuneral to be taking place.â, which is a bit of a classic Star quote, in that it can be interpreted in a number of ways...
Rawky, haven't read this thread yet just letting you know I can't reply in your other one "Nothing/Nadda" I'm not feeling any interest in BB yet, hope I get more interest when it starts, whenever that is as I don't even know that lol

I'm delighted if this is true, I found it hard to believe some people could have been so insensitive!

But was it really beyond the abilities of the producers to arrange a cemetery, time and date where such a large cast and crew wouldn't have to hang around waiting for a real, scheduled, funeral to finish? And isn't that in itself rather insentive? I'm delighted if this is true, I found it hard to believe some people could have been so insensitive!
Besides: if you were attending a funeral, how would you feel about having 30 ex-HMs joking and bitching in the background while all the time waiting for you to clear off so they could get on with their filming?
