He's intelligent. He's articulate. Interview the BB house and see how many of them even know what the word articulate means. I would say he is a fairly intelligent guy and I'm not basing that on his accent at all.
He is very articulate and a good conversationalist and most of what he says makes a lot of sense.

I was pretty impressed with a conversation he had about theatre, citing a couple of plays in particular and being very detailed and precise. (I know he was accurate because I too know the plays.

I'm not suggesting for a minute that Ben is some kind of genius though I must point out he appears so alongside the rest of them. I'm sure there have been some intellectual exchanges in there but they all got edited out. Ben talking to Shabby was hilarious. She completely misused common words 'perceived' massively misplaced was the most hilarious but still nobody can work out she's basically thick beyond all help.
