watched about 20 minutes of it tonight.utter shite! The voice is far superior,even though I  ain't impressed by these shows in the main.

Thought the same thing,he looked a thunderbird puppet,only the lower lip moved.

That seemed staged to me, they even went for a break half way through his crying 

I don't know what to make of that young lad... 9 was he or 11?  Not sure..  OK he was OK... BUT a bag of bloody nerves.  IMO, they are no good if they are going to freeze on stage and burst out crying.  Why the hell would anyone go on stage if they are like a frightened rabbit?  It's uncomfortable to watch and NOT entertaining, and he was an 'OK' singer at best.  Come back in 5 years maybe, if your nerves are better.. But if I was a judge, I would NEVER have put him through.  

Same with the lad that got picked on the voice last week (aleks) over the girl that looked evil when she wasn't picked.  He was an 'ok' singer, but he actually had the stage presence of a wet mop.  He was a bag of nerves and couldn't look people in the eye, and yet he went through.    He reminded me of Leon Jackson... an average voice and a dreadful live performer... bumbling and nervy and wobbly with not a jot of stage presence.  It takes a LOT more than being able to sing a bit to be a star imo.
