Betting Suspended

Just had a look at betfair and across page for 9th evictee it says betting suspended.
dont know if its something they do overnight with betting or whats happening.
also cant get next eviction up on oddschecker either.

any ideas?

thats interesting Jaf....

Betfair usually only suspend betting on the evictee when the phone lines close. They also used to suspend betting (in previous years) after the hm's nominated until those up for eviction were announced officially on BBLB.

This is cos there had been complaints about people with inside information (endemol staff etc)... who would know who was up before the public.

this is quite unusual... it infers that someone somewhere knows something.

Perhaps they will change it to a vote to save although I doubt it, seems there has been loads of complaints especially with four to leave friday.

no Jaf... the thing about betfair... it is, as the name suggest extremely fair. My dad does the horses on it... and he said when it first started the bookies hated betfair... they laid down a precedent when there were stewards enquiries & stuff that the bookies were then forced to follow.

If its suspended it does suggest something is going on... but not that BB are manipulating the betting. They don't have the power to manipulate it... and if there was activity that suggested insider betting then that would actually be one explanation for a suspended market.

It does mean something is going on... dunno what though.
