On the subject of Mary, my youngest son baked his first Christmas Cake this year and used a Mary Berry recipe - it was fantastic.
Well done him
He’s a good baker - doesn’t get it from me
It's funny that the younger generation of men are all good cooks, my son in law and all his mates are great cooks....their wives are a disaster area
My three sons can cook but youngest is the only baker. Two of my DiLs can cook and middle DiL is also a good baker but eldest DiL doesn’t cook

I used to have a good chocolate brownie recipe. Haven’t made brownies for years.
