I did. They were absolutely fantastic - and so much energy for a bunch of old geezers! My mate emailed Kevin Cronin later that year to ask if he'd donate a pair of REO running shorts to her (she was doing the Great North Run in aid of McMillan nurses) and he sent her a lovely letter and a pair of shorts (which looked like knickers and she had to wear leggings under them!) with 'Speedwagon' across the butt! Smashing guy.

Somehow they look the kind of people who would do that....and they still reign as my favourite drive music ever (except I'm tempted to air guitar in parts....not as bad as with Boston though)
