I think poor Ben is losing the plot at the moment

I agree, I don't think he's fantastic myself but he's stuffed. The only way forward for him is to stop apologising, grow some testicles and start not giving a toss and having fun. I liked when he just asked questions all the time like he had just landed on the planet from outer space.

his aplogies mean  nothing , because he negates every one of them with ' yes but i..' and goes on to explain why an apolgy isn't necessary.

Ben a bit earlier on LF saying he's worried more about staying tomorrow than being evicted.  I think he might be going a little bit mental in there.  It might end up in a huge "Shehbaz" style melt down.

like I have just said in another thread - I hope Ben is saved 2morro - it will give everyone else summat to think about... spesh if Govan goes....  I think and HOPE that Ben will stop apologising for being himself and up his game whilst everyone else is reeling that he is still there
