Hi El
I am that predictable, I guess
I think many of us are predictable in one way or other. For instance I predict that Summer will be eating pancakes on Tuesday 13th
I think thatβs what they call βa dead certβ

Yes Summer the picture was taken in London, that's the London Eye you can see there and that odd shaped building they've nicknamed the Walkie Talkie. I think the guy who took the photo must be a professional photographer (I don't know him personally but the picture was posted by my niece) as I know he has prints for sale.
The result of BB was as expected. Amanda and Ann should have been the last 2 standing in my view but that didn't fit with the concept that BB producers had in mind obviously.
Enjoy your day everyone
Squiggle agree 100% -too many radar dodgers reach the final IMO-loved this CBB but a disappointing snaky winner-he/she was very clever and manipulative

Good morning everyone, quite a few clouds today although we have been promised a dry day.
Enjoy your day everyone
Good morning everyone.
Dry but overcast weather.
Ros, I completely agree with you about this yearβs CBB
Have a good day, everyone
Squiggle, it's become cloudier here than it was though forecast like yours is for a dry day.
Looks as if the cold weather is set to last for a long time and at presentl isn;t forecast to return to average for the time of year until some time in March. I thinl it's one of those blocking highs which can occur in Scandinavia which until that ends means we get cold weather.
Good afternoon everyone
We have sunshine but it very windy and cold
I will not be venturing out today, again
Have a great day Buddies
Moonie, if you need to go out before Thursday, you may need to either today or tomorrow aa Monday evening into Tuesday could be snowing and Tuesday is set to be the coldest day of the year so far
Hi El
It will be Monday then
We have several Huskies in our area so all I would need is a π·

Itβs so friendly and sweet π

For some reason the emoji you used doesn't show up on my computer though emojis are supposed to. I just get a small box on Firefos with 01F on one line followed by 6F7 on the second. I can work out though that it's a sled. It's odd that some emojis do appear and others don't.
There are quite a few sources of emojis and I suspect that not all are supported by Social Strata. Here's a link to a list of sled emojis for different sources all with the same code of 1F6F7 - that's hexadecimal.

Iβm running Safari on my iPad and Linux laptop. Some donβt show up on my laptop. I get that small box too
I think some are unique to Apple. Thatβs just a guess though. Sometimes I type a word and an emoji appears. Sometimes I use it and sometimes I donβt.
The first one was a sled, the Apple version.

I think I may have worked out why. The second one was included in the first list of emojis issued by Unicode as Emoji version 1.0. Further lists have been issued since with the sled one included in version 5.0 which was released last May. My guess is that the Social Strata software caters for the earlier list(s) but not version 5.0. Unicode are working on another list to be released this year but they are jumping from 5.0 to version 11.0.

Moonie, I found that Unicode have included tihs in their draft version 11.0 though they don't indicate which devices will recognise it.

I thought you might be rather interested in that one but of course it's more than possible that it won't appear on here. I've just pasted the picture so don't assume that doing it as a conventional emoji will work.

Yay, a swan emoji
Great find, El
The picture of the swan emoji is a possible picture as the emoji is in draft and so is just an example at present. Unicode also mention that there could be a parrot emoji but there's no draft picture yet.

Good morning everyone
Fairly cloudy and cold here though no frost. Tomorrow is forecast to be colder and some snow is forecast but not a large amount. Wednesday still cold, but Thursday forecast to be less cold.
Huskies are beautiful
I hope everyone has a good day
Good morning everyone, cloudy here too but with a little bit of blue sky. I think we are due for some sleet tomorrow, I hope it's not more than that as my grocery delivery is due.
Enjoy your day everyone
Squiggle, the cloud has lifted here now and it's sunny - still cold though. I hope that your grocery delivery tomorrow doesn't get affected by the weather
Good morning everyone
I had to scrape frost from my windscreen this morning.
Squiggle, I hope the weather doesnβt affect your grocery delivery.
Ros and El, I agree huskies are gorgeous dogs.
Have a good day, all
Good morning itβs cold and getting colder here. Itβs very lightly snowing but not settling.
Why is watching snowflakes so mesmerising?!
Summer, as you say, watching snowflakes is mesmerising. Apparently there are 35 different basic shapes of snowflakes though the likelyhood of any two of them being identical is near non-existent, It's thought that there are about 10 quintillion molecules of water in each snowflake. That's 100,000,000,000,000,000,000. So the number of different snowflakes would be a rather large number.
