Nope, still here. Looks like its an 'all night job'

Squiggle isn't usually around at this time of night. I don't think she would notice if you got off the step.

*sneaks off norty step*

If Squiggle finds out, we'll both be on the naughty step. El and I used to be on it a lot.

Moonie I forgot you were still on the naughty step, thank goodness you rescued him Yogi

How interesting to know that quote is from the bible EL.

It's supposed to be heavy rain here but so far its only drizzling.

I am glad Mr Summer is feeling slightly better but I hope he continues to improve and manages to shake the cough off, he has good taste in housemates Linda is just a bitter miserable woman, someone on DS yesterday quoted from Tam O' Shanter to describe her

Where sits our sulky, sullen dame,
Gathering her brows like gathering storm,
Nursing her wrath to keep it warm.

Have a good day everyone.

Good job it was central heated Squiggle

I hadn't realised that the red sky quote was biblical, El.

Squiggle, Kaffs' Tam O' Shanter quote fits Linda down to the ground.

Hubby has a long weekend, so we are going out for lunch today.

Have a good day, everyone.

I hope you have a lovely lunch Yogi

  • Back from lunch. We went to Frankie and Benny's and the food was good, as always. We were served by a really lovely guy who spoke excellent English but had a rather unusual accent. When I asked where he came from, he said I had until the end of the meal to guess! I listened carefully and initially thought he might be American Italian, but there was also an Eastern European influence and thought perhaps Polish or Czech. When he presented the bill, he was very impressed with my guesses. Turns out he was born in Poland and moved to America when he was 15, before coming to Scotland. There was a definite American influence in the standard of service, which was excellent. Hubby tipped him very well and praised him to the manager.

Hope you've all had a lovely day

Was it the awful weather which put off Bramble?

I hope Mr Summer is feeling better?

I think she's due to come in to season soon, it could be a bit of that. Also, mr summer is feeling rotten and I think bramble just wanted to snuggle up with him

Aww, she probably is a bit out of sorts if she is due to come into season.

Nice that she wants to snuggle up with Mr Summer.
