Good morning everyone

Wet night here, currently some blue sky, lots of showers forecast for later.

I'll be out seeing a client in a couple of hours. He's in his 70s and I will be spending most of my time trying to find the information I need for his tax return rather than doing the return. It is likely that there will be missing information which he will need to get from banks etc. As he has left it until now, there is a real possibility that his return will miss the 31st deadline and that he will be fined.

Good morning foggy start again here but it's not raining

Oh dear El, I hope you can find everything you need, your client has left it awfully late
My tax bill arrived before christmas and although it wasn't a pleasure paying it, I did it right away because I like to be organised with important things like that. It's nice to know it's done and I don't need to worry about it again
~Sparkling Summer~

Good morning everyone. Weather is dry atm. The back garden is a swamp from all the rain we've had recently.

Oh dear, your client really has left things very late, El. I know you will sort him out as soon as you can, but it will be difficult if he doesn't have the relevant records for you to work on.

Grocery shopping today, I'll bring back a cake.

Have a good day, everyone.

Good morning El

I see you have had a busy day already

Well you seem to busy all year round El. That's good for you and your bank balance I didn't know about 31st January 'deadline'

Sponge Cake?

Now that would be a step too far, wouldn't it?

Sponge Cake?

Just imagine that Mr Sponge marries a Miss Cake and they decide to have a double barrelled surname Sponge-Cake.

Then they have a baby who just happens to have red hair.

I went to see a client this evening at the scheduled time of 6.00. I knocked on the door and after a moment she opened the door and said that the meeting was tomorrow. So that's been a wasted journey and a waste of 20 minutes of my time.

I checked my diary when I got back in. The meeting is in my diary for today. I made a note in my diary last week when she rang saying that I would meet her on Thursday. I remember saying at the end of our phone conversation that I would see her on the 16th.

But of course the customer is always right.
