Yes, I've been updating Fish Police son about the situation. He has been up today and says if the lone fish survives another week, he will bring up his decontamination tank (which is the same size as mine) and we will transfer the surviving fish into it, then we can decontaminate my tank. We will wait a while before trying to introduce any more new fish but I feel sorry for the little fish swimming around by itself.

Bath and PJs is what I should be doing before CBB. Enjoy your wine, you deserve it.

I'm glad son has a spare tank, hopefully he can save the last fish and decontaminate the main tank!

I've just finished a lovely book

I'm preparing for the little fish to die but hoping that he survives.

Which book were you reading? I've just started another crime thriller.

Are you seeing family tomorrow?

Moonie's been offline for days, I hope he's alright

He had a bad migraine a few days ago and then said he was still feeling poorly. I hope he feels better and comes back soon.

Not expecting any visitors tomorrow - but that's not to say I won't end up with some.

Hubby was out with youngest son this morning and middle son and DiL visited this afternoon and stayed for dinner.

Good morning a frosty day here too, I'm heading out shortly for a walk. I'm to meet up with an unexpected walking buddy too, she used to be more of a hungover on the sofa all day sort but has recently fallen in love and is settling down she wants a dog as soon as possible, so has requested some practise with myself and miss bramble

I hope you all have a lovely day, I'll be back later

Meanwhile, for yogi, here's my review of Death comes to Pemberley;
At first, I was sure I was going to enjoy it as I struggled to accept the new faces of the cast, but that's my own fault because I have watched my beloved P&P hundreds of times! That soon dissolved because the storyline gripped me, and chatsworth enchants me- I thought it was wonderful to see it on my screen again.
The cast made the characters their own, and the story was great, I thoroughly enjoyed it and highly recommend it.
It was lovely to see a glimpse of what became of our favourite characters beyond the end of P&P No wonder Baz says it was the best thing she saw on TV this christmas
~Sparkling Summer~

I'm back from church. I was intending to walk there this morning but when I got outside I could see that it was rapidly getting cloudier and the wind was making it quite cold so I drove instead. I think there may have been a brief hailstorm durin the service judging by the noise on the church windows but no sign of it when I came back home. Now it's leaden skies and cold. I see that snow is being forecast up north. Although it feels cold enough for snow here, the forecast is for rain.

Yogi. I'm sorry to hear that the lone fish did not survive.

Summer, I hope you, Bramble and your walking buddy enjoy the walk.

The 3 episodes of Death comes to Pemberley are available on Youtube. Ofiicially the BBCStore on Youtube has them at ÂĢ1-89 per episode though there are also unofficial ones there but they may have been deleted for copyright reasons. Amazon says that the DVD is being released on 10 February for ÂĢ13-50.

Good job you were wearing a warm coat.

It's chilly up here, too.

The coar I was wearing was one of these:

Italian wool coat with cashmere - it's a good coat but at ÂĢ159 it should be. If I had gone for the pure cashmere one that would have cost ÂĢ499 but there's no way I would want to pay that sort of money.

That's a smart coat, El and I bet it's really cosy.

I agree, ÂĢ500 is a bit much to pay for a coat - unless you've had a lottery win.

same as summer -  summer you are brilliant at summing up - i couldn't do better

Good morning everyone. Weather is dry, although overcast.

Oh no Summer, naughty Bramble and poor chickens! Maybe your gamekeeper Bil might have some advice about how to stop her chasing things - although it's probably an instinctive terrier thing.

Thanks for the kind words about the fish, everyone. My son will decontaminate the tank and after a few weeks, I'll be able to start again.

I'm catching up on Piers Morgan's programme with Mary Berry - what a lovely woman she is.

Have a good day, everyone.

Yogi, there is a short series of the Great Sport Relief Bake Off this week on BBC2 with Paul Hollywood and Mary Berry.

The 4 contestants tonight are Michael Vaughan, Johnny Vaughan, Samantha Bond and Bonnie Wright and it's hosted by Sue Perkins.

Tomorrow the 4 are Kirsty Young, Jane Horrocks, Greg Rutherford and Jason Gardner and it's hosted by Jo Brand.

Wednesday the 4 are are Michael Ball, Jamelia, Victoria Pendelton and Emma Freud and it's hosted by Omid Djalili,

Then on Thursday the 4 are Alistair McGowan, Rochelle Humes, Doon Mackichan and Helen Skelton and it's hosted by Ed Byrne.

So amongst the serious material there's the potential for some baking disasters with plenty of soggy bottoms.

El Loro

Good morning everyone, oh naughty Bramble, I bet your heart was in your mouth Summer, as you say I suppose it is her natural instinct but the farmer would not have been best pleased if she had killed one of his hens.

A really nice morning again

What a smart coat EL as Summer says I hope you have a night scarf to go with it.

Oh dear it looks like I'm going to have to watch CBB with my finger on the FF button again   I suppose we should have expected this with C5.
