Evening all. Pouring rain and blowing a gale up here.

I missed out on my family get together on Boxing Day. Crohns decided to rear its ugly head and I ended up in bed with stomach spasms and vomiting.

The rest of the family had a nice time though. Still feeling a bit ropey today but I should feel better by tomorrow.

Yogi, what a shame that you were struck down with Crohns . I hope that you feel a lot better by now.

 

Moonie, these gas and electicity bills are expensive. I pay by monthly direct debit and the annual cost is £1032, so that's £258 each quarter.

 

The weekend weather looks not too bad in my area, but next storm is set for Monday/Tuesday.

Good morning everyone. Weather is still wet and windy.

I'm a bit better today, thanks for your good wishes. I have just eaten a slice of toast, and am waiting to see if the spasms start again. If they don't, then things have settled down. Two or three years ago, it flared up on Christmas Day, so at least it waited until Boxing Day this year.

Miss bramble went to spend the day with SIL and caught/killed a rabbit right in front of her! bramble doesn't catch anything, ever, and poor SIL is a bunny lover with 2 of her own- the dog would have to show me up wouldn't she luckily BIL was there and SIL took it all very well.

Yes... I much prefer it when bramble hunts tennis balls I cannot change her natural instincts, but I certainly don't encourage them. To think that she's generally such a sweetheart too!

I am recording Death Comes To Pemberley and will save it for a later date. We are minding PB tomorrow and my middle son and DiL are also coming to visit.
