Yep, English, German and now Italian Hagatha

You are officially a football-holic.

My middle son is the same. He came to visit us during the week, picked up the tv remote and put on one of the Sky sports channels - he was   and  when he realised we had got rid of them.

Sunderland are currently bottom of the Premier league Hagatha

Wow, that is beautiful!

Good morning everyone. Very strong winds and heavy rain overnight but all is still and dry atm.

My back is aching less this morning. I think I'll take it easy though, as I don't want it 'going' on me before Christmas.

Summer, good tip about the lavender oil. L'Occitane do a lovely lavender bath product which is great for aching muscles and it smells lovely, too.

Have a good day everyone.

Good morning everyone

Quite sunny here at present but forecast to be wet this afternoon.

Skylark, I hope you feel better today

Moonie, I hope your cold is a bit better today. Colds and flu are different viruses so your sister's flu jab wouldn't prevent her from catching colds.

Summer, Tron was originally made as a film in 1982 but video games quickly followed. The film though was heavily influenced by video games. No doubt Mr Summer also watched the film sequel Tron Legacy, and more sequels are intended (and there's also a television series). I did see the original film when it was first shown on television but I won't bother with the sequel.

Good morning everyone, very windy this morning and plenty of rain later I think, hope I don't get blow away on my way to church.

I didn't know prawns were high in cholesterol not that I eat them all that often.  I saw a tiny bit of Tron when I was changing channels, and it certainly looked baffling.

I hope moonie and Skylark are feeling better today, Yogi be careful of your back you certainly don't need it playing you up over the Christmas period.

Have a great day everyone

Good morning
I'm just enjoying a little lay in but I'm going to Skype my mum during breakfast in 5 mins!

Moonie, sorry I churchilled last night I hope you slept well. Those owls are adorable together, and what a talent to do a carving like that! I hope you feel a bit better this morning

Yogi I'm glad you ache a bit less today, was it the christmas tree that did it?

El, I can't believe Tron have more projects coming up lol! They must have a fan base then

I wonder how skylark is today..

Squiggle, what are your plans today? How's your boiler now?
~Sparkling Summer~

Hi Summer, just a quick reply, I have to dash off to church, children's nativity today, looking forward to it.  Yes the boiler has been fixed (for now) I hope it lasts the winter, and will probably watch a Christmas movie while I have my lunch later on.  Have a good Skype chat with your mum, what are your plans for later on?

Good afternoon everyone *dons mask so as not to spread germs*

Yogi, I'm glad your back is feeling better today

El, fankoo. I do feel somewhat better

Squiggle, much better fankoo

Sweet, please don't worry about dropping off. I understand Didn't sleep too well tbh but tonight will be another night I wish I had the talent to carve like that

I just went down the road to get some bread. Okay going. Got soaked coming back

Have a great afternoon everyone wave:

Moonie

Hope you have dried off now and are having a warming cuppa, Moonie. Glad you are feeling a bit better today.

Summer, on Friday, hubby said he would carry some heavy bags of Christmas goodies upstairs for me (I'm having to keep them in the smallest spare room as I don't have enough space downstairs). Being incredibly impatient, hubby didn't move them immediately quickly enough for me so I made several trips up and downstairs with them and strained my back. Then I was hauling sofas and the dining table yesterday, as I prepped the room before putting up the tree, and made my back worse. Today, I am taking it easy.

Squiggle, I'm glad the boiler is working properly again - long may it continue.

Skylark, I hope you are feeling better.

Yogi19

Yogi, it's sensible to take it easy today to relieve your back.

Moonie, i hope you've dried off my now. The weather here is now wet and windy and is horrible. I'm not going out this afternoon.

Squiggle, I'm glad your boiler is fixed. I hope you liked the children's nativity.

We don't have enough youngsters in the Sunday Club (our name for the Sunday School) to expect them to put one on nowadays.

And it's not snowing. We need to think of the positives.

We do indeed

Moonie

In the past when the Sunday School in our church was larger, they would put on a Nativity play every year. The Sunday School leader at the time actually wrote the plays and I think some were published for other churches to use. Things like school football matches on Sundays mornings have resulted in lower numbers. We do also have a Messy Church for youngsters and their parents which are held from time to time on a Sunday afternoon and those are popular and well attended. They are informal, start off with craft based activities around a Christian theme in the church hall followed by a short act of worship in the church.
