Good news about your brother and the puppies Summer.  I am glad he is safe and yes it won't be long before Mama gets feds up with all those hungry mouths to feed.

I've been out celebrating festivities, again! Then got home to unpack and set up my new TV cabinet, I'm madly in love with it.

The forum was running really well last night, so hopefully the hotfix has fixed our coggy problems.

I must be seeing things, I saw this notice in Cheltenham this morning.Christmas comes but twice a year

 

Cheltenham who had a really poor start to the season are slowly improving having won today against Morecambe and are about mid-table now.

 

Gloucester have been really struggling in football and were bottom of their league not having won a match since August. But today they beat the 4th placed team 5-1 and gone up a couple of places. Since the local floods of 2007 when Gloucester's ground was destroyed they've been playing their home matches at Cheltenham's ground (Cheltenham's match was at Morecambe), and one of Cheltenham's younger players has been loaned to Gloucester for a month. He gets some experience and today he scored the opening goal.

Yes, PB and I had a lovely time together. Even though she was still a bit snuffly, she was really cheerful and smiling all day. 

I'm determined to yogi, next week is going to be busy. I've resolved to stay in bed until at least 10am!

Harvey is fine and he's great with PB.

We have bought PB a mixture of things, some practical like this 3 in 1 baby walker http://www.mothercare.com/Moth...html#q=Baby%20walker

and some activity toys, books and clothes.

Wow! That's nicer than my car, she's going to absolutely love it!

She's a little livewire, so I think we might need to keep our feet and legs out of the way, once she gets going - otherwise we could all end up with bruises and skinned shins.

Good morning everyone, it's a little chilly this morning, especially noticeable because I have no heating or hot water   I haven't yet got around to replacing the boiler and was hoping it would limp through one more winter.  I hope it's just the pump that's failed as the boiler is actually firing but I dread him saying that's it, it needs replacing.  Anyway I have phoned the insurance company and now have to wait in for a phone call, so I won't make it to church.

 

What a cute walker that is Yogi, PB is going to love it.  What a treat you are all in for seeing Christmas afresh through her eyes.

I hope it's just a problem with the pump and your boiler isn't kaput. Sometimes the pumps seize up and can be persuaded to work again. Fingers crossed it's the least expensive option for you.

Summer, I like your idea of attaching the hoover to the baby walker - wonder if we could do that?

Good morning all I'm enjoying my lay in I must get up soon though because I have a lot of housework to do today.

Oh no squiggle I hope you get that phone call soon and that it's a simple fix have you got any electric heaters you could plug in?

I would love two Xmas days, because it would mean 2 Xmas Eve's!!!!

I've got my gas fire on in the living room, and my eldest grandson is going to fetch down a couple of halogen heaters.  The brilliant news is my friend who I was going to be seeing at church suggested when I phoned her that I look into boiler grants and evidently the government brought in a scheme about a year ago to provide a free boiler to certain categories, and it seems I fit into one!  If the boiler engineer can just get it going again I will apply and see how I get on.

 

You definitely need a pj day Summer.

What a nightmare for your boiler not to be working. I hope it is just the pump which needs to be sorted out, though it's good if you are able to get a grant for a new boiler.

Awwww what a cute owl I saw some real ones today! They were at a christmas fair. We bought a christmas cake but we've chosen a long slice style instead of a round one
