I coloured my hair this morning and cleaned the fish tank while the colour 'took'. Only problem was, I couldn't wear my glasses because they would have been covered in dye so I was working half blind. Once my hair was done, I put my specs on and wiped a few bits I had missed.

Sorry I didn't get on yesterday- work was hectic, I finished late and had to rush to make it home in time for elf night, and got to bed around midnight, then churchilled immediately!
Lovely evening, it was much more relaxed than last year and poor SIL was full of a cold. She refuses to let colds get her down despite how awful she feels- I even wrapped her in a blankie at one point!

We left all the mess because so I have to clear up this morning I'd like to catch up on strictly, but right now bramble is literally snoring with her head on the corner of my iPad
I'm giving her until the end of typing this to shuffle along or I'm just going to move her lol

Awful news about that crash yogi I'm very glad you are safe those poor families, and so near christmas.

I hope you all had a lovely start to the weekend, I'll be about more today

Good morning everyone, definitely colder today I think, with a chill breeze.  Couldn't get on the internet at all yesterday evening so I gave up in the end.

 

I am glad your Elf Night went well Summer, I bet SIL appreciated the blankie, I hope she feels better soon, it's such a busy time for women around Christmas time.

 

I just sit still and listen to the radio while my colour is working Yogi, I am in awe of you doing the fish tank whilst yours is working.  Multi-tasking taken to the Nth degree

Thanks Summer, I think my router might be feeling its age.  I unplugged it this morning and left it to cool but the budget doesn't allow for a replacement at the moment so I hope it will soldier on.

El, its dull and overcast here too

Squiggle, I brought a new router. Then my modem stopped working so my service provider, Virgin media, replaced it with one of their 'hubs' which has a built-in router. I don't know who you are with but hope that helps

If it's overheating I think they should.

 

Thank you moonie and EL, I'm with a small independent ISP (who I found through the advice of the old C4 forum incidentally) and I know they would charge me for a router.  They keep the costs down by not providing things like this free of charge which suits me.  When I'm in a position to do so I will just order a good one from Amazon where I can check the reviews for the model I have chosen.  Thanks for your advice though

Thank you everyone I made 4 altogether, it took me all day! Then SIL hurt herself falling over so we took hers over to cheer her up. It worked a treat
