You may remember me saying about an elderly neighbour who was taken to hospital. Well i have been in and out today and noticed the curtains were closed. a bit worrying as her brother is usually up and about. I didnt want to knock the door as perhaps he was having a sleep. I went to the neighbour next door to express my concern and ask if she had heard any sound etc. well unfortunately found out the lady has passed away last evening. Very sad, but on a good note, if there is one, she passed peacefully in her sleep. Not sure of her age, someone said she was 89, so a good innings really. 
My neighbour going to the funeral so i will go with her, as she says the lady hadnt many friends left and nothing worse than a half empty crematorium/Church. 

Sorry dont want to be depressing , but part of life really xx

Thanks everyone, feeling a little better now I've had something to eat, and the numbness has worn off.  The tooth looks as good as new and as I was expecting to be told an onlay was needed £80 doesn't sound too bad.

 

Haven't seen anything about football, but I never read the sports pages, perhaps that's why.

I remember you mentioning your concerns about your elderly neighbour some time ago, I'm sorry to hear of this sad news. You are right to go to her funeral to show support for her brother.

Nice of you and your neighbour to attend the funeral. I agree that it is sad when elderly people die and perhaps they don't have family or friends to attend their funeral.

I'm glad the dentist was able to save your tooth, Squiggle. In that case, I'm sure you feel the £80 was money well spent.

I think suspicious circumstances means that the police may have found injuries on the body or something to indicate that the death was not obviously due to natural causes. I'm sure I'll hear more about this in due course and will let you know more.

As for the elderly lady. I do hope her brother copes.he has learning difficulties, as well as ill health . I shall keep an eye open, without being intrusive x

Oh dear  Always upsetting this type of news ...

On a rather cheerier note. I am making a salad for myself with cherry tomatoes, i must have dropped one. Well Kia is running around with it, saying to herself, is it a ball or can i eat it? Well she tried and decided it wasnt to her liking, but dropped it in her food bowl just incase.....so funny 

Some people think Staffy,s are daft or aggressive, she is neither! Just glad she cant talk, or it wouldnt stop 

my niece has a Staffy named Sky. She is so sloppy, you are only in danger of being licked to death

Oh lovely name   I had to stop the licking, but mine still wants to cuddle and eat my hair   I would like to think mine is a guard dog, but alas, no, she would welcome any burglar  
Not that anyone can get in, i have door made of steel , as when son lost his keys..another story... x

I always think that if there's not many people at the funeral, there must be plenty waiting for them on the other side, may she rest in peace
