Goodnight everyone, sweet dreams.
Summer, I hope you've had a good evening.
Goodnight everyone, sweet dreams.
Summer, I hope you've had a good evening.
Good morning everyone
Cloudy but dry here.
Moonie, I'm glad you enjoyed your birthday but hope you have recovered from your upset tummy.
Summer, well done on surviving the night out and managing to get away by 10.
Good morning everyone. A slight frost this morning.
Summer, well done on getting home at 10pm. Intrigued to know where you are off to tonight?
I missed most of Strictly and will need to watch it on Catch Up.
This is the first year where I have no real favourites. I do like Ashley and Patrick and I did like Susanna (although I'm going off her a wee bit) but I don't have anyone I really want to win.
Moonie, I hope your tummy upset has gone now.
Not expecting any visitors today, but that's not to say I won't get any.
Have a good day everyone.
Good morning everyone. Oh no moonie, I hope your tummy upset clears up soon. Tilly has an upset tummy too and unfortunately she had sneaked out of her bed and into my youngest grandson's So the washing machine is going full blast. My eldest grandson had left a can of beer in the garden while he worked on his bike and when we came to empty it out after it had been left out overnight there were a couple of slugs in it He threw them out but unfortunately onto the grass so I think Tilly might have eaten them
I'm glad you had a lovely day with PB, I love her new bib oh yes she is going to be a chatterbox I just know it.
I too am intrigued at what is so exciting and where you are going tonight Summer. I am glad you got away so lightly from your night out, I share your feelings about bars that try to be nightclubs, not my scene.
Have a good day everyone
Squiggle, it is probably a good thing that Tilly was sick after eating the slugs, as they are not good for dogs as they can give them something nasty, called lungworm. Dogs seem to like slugs, for some bizarre reason (including Keira) and it isn't always possible to stop them. Hopefully, Tilly's tummy will settle down, now that she has been sick.
Summer, I think you are right to stay true to yourself.
I hope Mr Summer's migraine eases and you are able to go pick up your car.
Squiggle, I too hope Tillie is OK.
Summer, you are not boring. Well, if you are, what does that make the rest of us
I hope Mr Summer's migraine eases.
I have spent ages, pouring over photos of PB. Mr Yogi is getting a calendar made, with pics of PB - but it was so difficult choosing the 12 pics. I've finished now, but I did drive him nuts by changing my mind, at least half a dozen times.
Woohoo, all aboard the Polar Express! Have a wonderful time, Summer.
Going into town is a bit of a nightmare atm, isn't it? You have my sympathy.
PB is only 7 months, so we couldn't find one for every month of the year, but I started with a pic of her in the hospital and ended up with one from last week, so it charts her life through the months. I have insisted that the witchy one is used for October/Hallowe'en.
As you say, still no Moonie. Hope he is soon feeling better.
That sounds so exciting Summer, hope you have a wonderful time Good luck with the calendar Yogi, it should be wonderful. I made one for my mother-in-law towards the end of her life, with pictures of her and her husband and family, interleaved with poems, she loved it.

What a lovely gift, Squiggle. Photographs make the best presents, don't they?
My mum has asked for photos of my sons and their wives/GF and of PB, for Christmas, instead of gifts.
For those of us who don't catch the Polar Express, here's a link to tell you what it's about, and there's a video clip.

I wonder if Summer will be going in her pyjamas

Quite possibly.
I think it all sounds magical and I'm sure Summer will love it.
Off to bed, goodnight all.
Leaving a night owl hug for Summer and a get well hug for Moonie.
Good morning everyone
Fairly cloudy here but dry.
Summer, I'm glad you had a magical evening. That's a lovely snowy owl
Good morning everyone. Weather is dry and frosty.
Summer, that sounds like a totally perfect evening, it's no wonder you want to go back again.
Thank you for the gorgeous owl - the berries, covered in snow, are so pretty.
I might try to get some online Christmas shopping done today. It's about time I got started on the adult's gifts.
Moonie, I hope you feel better now and are able to join us.
Have a good day, everyone.
Good morning everyone, what a perfect evening that sounds Summer, much more your style than a few drinks in a boring club.
Good luck with the online shopping Yogi, moonie hope you are feeling better. Skylark a quick hug for you
I have managed to capture a picture of the very train that Summer was on - she was a few carriages back
Good afternoon everyone
Just popped in to let you know all is well with me now and I will be back in a couple of days, forum allowing
Sweet, glad you had a good time on both of your 'outings'
Yogi, if there are any extra copies of PB's calender going spare put me down for one. I am willing to pay for it and packaging too
Squiggle, that's a lovely Santa train picture
Moonie, I'm glad you are feeling better now.
Just returned from seeing a client. His wife gave me a piece of what she called fruit cake with my mug of coffee. It was in fact a large slice of her birthday cake (her birthday was a few days ago) which her sister had baked for, complete with icing and marzipan. It wa rather nice
Hi all
I am alive and well! Not on my comp just now so cant get onto other stuff , will do later.
Sorry i missed your birthday moonie, hope it was a good one x
We were in town last night for the lights going on. It all looks lovely, but terribly busy. Thought of you Summer!
Will need to catch up later, but all is well, sort of....
Yay, welcome back, Skylark and Moonie. Glad you are feeling better, Moonie.
Did your granddaughter enjoy the lights, Skylark. I bet she was even more excited about Christmas after seeing them.
Squiggle, the santa train pic is lovely and twinkly.
That birthday cake sounds nice, El - and cakes should always come in large slices.
Hi Yogi, yes she loved them. The town looks lovely. she wanted to go on the big wheel, i am sure its bigger than the London Eye. No way, you couldnt pay me enough to go on that, its huge! The look on her face though, with all the lights, was priceless xx
Going home soon so will be on my own comp to catch up x
Welcome back Skylark
Talking of Christmas lights, this has been on the news:

Warning, don't watch if you are sensitive to flashing lights.
I hope the family intend to raise money for charities by doing this as otherwise I think it's somewhat excessive.

That's some display of lights. I wouldn't want to get their next electricity bill!
Haha, Skylark, I'm not keen on fairground rides either. Luckily, Mr Yogi didn't mind taking the boys on the scary ones.
Oh my El
I dont class this as a fairground ride Yogi, but maybe because i am terrified of heights ...
its big
Castle in background about 300 yards away...
I certainly will Summer, you will be most welcome here, Any info you need just ask xx

That's huge! Unless it moves round very slowly, you'd never get me on it!

Nor me!!!
Glad you are getting the house back in order, Summer. The skirting boards will just finish it off perfectly.

Yes indeed x
Have to get off now, love to all
I'll be going out to see a prospective new client in a few minutes so probably won't be back until tomorrow. I won't have any excuses for being late as he lives about 1 minute walk away

See you later.

You won't need the car then?

I think I can safely say that I won't need my car to get to his house. Also I won't be able to make excuses if I am ever late by saying that it was because of the traffic
