Snooker most of the day. Now World Cup foodball qualifying...Senegal v Ivory Coast

Who is winning?

Senegal 1-0 with ten minutes to go but they need another goal to win on aggregate

So it's all to play for then?

Yep it is

 Aww, that's a shame.

Still one team has to win and the Ivory Coast did win 3-1 in the first leg. So I guess they deserved it overall

I've been hunting for a Strictly spoiler but I think I'm too early

Patience is not one of my virtues.

Where is Summer, she is getting later and later and I keep missing her?

*night owls* aaaaw last nights fwends owl was fantastic!

Sorry I didn't get online earlier, I hope you're all having a good weekend.
Mr summer visited the sales manager who has treated us appallingly and had it out with him. He lied, lots! Mr summer has a sharp memory and hits hard with facts, he's unflappable in confrontation and locks in on eye contact. The poor man was left shaking lol but that still didn't stop SIL hitting the roof when she found out the result of that conversation. she sought out the company director!
apparently extra staff have been drafted in and are on standby to work extra hours, in order to meet our promised deadline.

We've just cleared most of our ground floor, it looks very strange!

Hopefully I will be around tomorrow

Squiggle- I'm praying the deer remains invisible to any hunters. It's reassuring that they have to hold a license to own and use such weapons, and must have specific permission to shoot on a piece of land. Lets hope the land lacks permitted hunters and that the farmer himself doesn't see the deer
~Sparkling Summer~

Good morning everyone. Weather is dry and the wind has died away. It's still pitch black outside so I can't tell anything else.

Summer, I am delighted you are going to get your flooring done as planned, well done to Mr Summer and your SiL for not accepting the company's excuses for letting you down. As you can tell by the time of this post, I am not having a lie in. I keep waking early, which is why I get tired quite early at night and keep missing you. I will try to stay awake tonight - I'll use matchsticks to keep my eyes open.

Why are you trying to avoid Baz today? Have you done something in the Darnie thread? I'm going for a look.

Squiggle, I hope the deer is back in a safe place. How does she get into the paddock. Is there an open gate or does she leap the fence? There is a stretch of motorway near us, where the deer graze very close to the road and occasionally one manages to come roadside - it makes my blood run cold to see them in such a dangerous situation, they are such beautiful animals.

El, I hope you and your brother are enjoying your weekend together. If you have any smarties cake left over, you can always rely on your Buddies to eat it for you.

Skylark and Moonie, hope to see you both today.

Have a good day everyone.

Edit: Summer, I have seen the giraffes, so I know why you will be avoiding Baz today.

Baz is is going to be mad that I've put christmas trees up while she was asleep and the giraffes are a fantastic find, I loved those!

I didn't scroll back far enough to spot the Christmas trees. I've had another look and they are very pretty - but Baz is still going to keeeeel you!

I don't mind waking early but it does mean I can't stay up late at night.

I think the problem is that our heating comes on at 6am so that the bathroom is warm for hubby when he gets up for work. I think it must be the change in room temperature which is waking me.

Yay, lots and lots of Smarties, thanks El. Mr Yogi will be stealing some too, he loves Smarties.

Skylark, I hope your elderly neighbour is okay. Seeing an ambulance in the street always make my heart sink.

Which cartoons are you and granddaughter watching? Hubby loves the original Tom and Jerry ones - in fact, he has been known to record them.
