You have been working hard today El. Enjoy your drink and I hope the church meeting goes well

Thanks. It's been a busy day but straightfoward with hassle-free clients.

I used to buy the stamps when the Post Office did them but now I just save up the cash.

Squiggle, I hope you've had some time to relax today.

I've never bought TV licence stamps but many many years ago I did have green shield stamps and almost certainly had quite a lot which I never got around to using (not that they cost anything). They were withdrawn in 1991 but were very popular in the 1960s.

Things like shop loyalty cards made the green shield stamps a thing of the past.

Hi all, just popping in. Sister is fine thanks. She is asthmatic, as well as other ailments. Her family are away just now at a wedding in Ireland. she couldnt go and didnt want to be on her own, as she feels an asthmatic attack coming on. think a lot of it is stress related. Anyway, i am not a deep sleeper so have one ear open. Nice and quiet here, as granddaughter at nanas and dog and son snoring in unison!
Have a lovely weekend everyone, will catch up soon

It's probably the stress of the move which has made her feel ill. A nice, quiet weekend with you might help her to settle and relax. Hope she feels better soon.
