You could well be right EL.  Obviously wedging a bike in the back of a Transit van and then driving over 70 miles through sometimes twisty turny roads is not easy, our hearts were in our mouths about whether the bike would fall over and my grandson did say that one of the straps was pressing on the wires.  I am sure this guy that my grandson knows will get to the bottom of it, I hope so anyway.

Squiggle I hope you've no plans today so that you can just relax

None whatsoever Summer, I did have a meeting but I've said I won't be able to make it.  I am still so tired.

I hope you get a chance to rest, Squiggle.

Your poor grandson, that must have been very scary when the lights stopped working. I hope it's something inexpensive and easy to repair.

A very different and untypical episode of Doctors today. It's a one-off episode which is very Halloweenish and may be scary for those of a sensitive nature. It's what is called a portmanteau piece which use to be a staple of British horror films. The original film was Dead of Night and Amicus made a few in the early 1970s.

Worth seeing and it might even send a shiver or two down your spine.

Good morning everyone

Cloudy here but mainly dry until late. I hope it's dried up a bit for those who have been faced with lots of rain recently.

Today is a day of meetings for me, one this morning with one client (and his mother ), one this afternoon with another client, and then a shortish meeting (not a social get together) at church in the early evening.

El Loro

Good morning everyone.  Wow those pumpkins are great, well done Summer

I hope your day goes well EL, it sounds chock a block.  I bet that picture of PB was cute, one for the family album definitely Yogi.

It's this bit of autumn I don't like when it's rainy and soggy and there are soggy brown leaves everywhere.  We need it to dry up so we can get some crisp autumn days, not a chance from the looks of the forecast.

Have a good day everyone.

I'm back from my first meeting, need to file his tax return with HMRC then get lunch and then off again to my secind meeting.

At his morning's meeting he said that he had another 30 years to go before he gets to retirement age. I said I doubt if I would still be filing his tax returns. I then asked him and his mother how old they thought I was. She said about 50, he said about 40. I then told them I was 61 and they were surprised. Both my parents alsways looked younger than they were as does my brother.

Skylark, I hope your sister will cheer up as a result of her visit. Moving house can be very stressful and she is probably very tired.

Lucky you to have youthful genes, El.

Unfortunately, only in appearance, not inwardly.

One out of two isn't bad.
