No, I dont have a pet Skylark

Mine is spoilt, sits on knees and cuddles everyone. i have said before, if i ever had a burglar she would be waging her tail, saying come in for a cuddle Pity they get some bad press, its how you bring them up, i think.

Pets are part of the family Skylark. They love a cuddle. Same with my nieces Staffy. She loves to be cuddled and stroked Yep, they do get bad press but she is so soppy you can take the food out of her mouth and not so much as a growl. Well not me but her family can

Have to get off now.
Sleep well everyone, take care

I hope your sister soon settles in properly Skylark. I have been here for all but two years of my life but find it strange when I go elsewhere

Goodnight Skylark. Sleep well and have sweet dreams

Moonie

Good morning everyone

Cloudy here, dry at present but it rained overnight and there's more in the forecast.

As the school with those false widow spiders is in the Forest of Dean in Gloucestershire, there's been a number of news stories in my local news. Quite a few of the local parents think the school over-reacted, could have waited a few days until next week and dealt with the spiders during the half term break without making this into a national news story. No child has been bitten by a spider and as one parent said, this is the forest, there's lots of insects there which can bite people.

Morning  everyone
Of course the school is down your way El, rather unpleasant! I expect health and safety stepped in!
Dark here this morning, didnt want to get up!
Off into town before it gets busy, as i want to get sister a little gift from us. Then we going up to visit. probably wont be on today, so have a good one

Good morning everyone, it's a nice bright morning after a load of rain last night.

I hope it was a restful night's sleep Yogi with no troublesome nightmares, they are so real aren't they?  Horrible.

I am sure your sister will soon feel at home Skylark, we don't like change most of us, do we?  It will take a bit of getting used to but she will probably feel right at home very soon.

My sister used to be a bit like that too moonie, we used to trail round the shops for hours and I ended up with not very much.  Think of all the money she saved you though

We are threatened with severe winds on Monday, really strong gales, I don't know whether it's the same all over the country but from the weather map it did look like that.  Not looking forward to it at all

squiggle

Squiggle, the storm due for Monday does look as if it's a nasty one. Yesterday the Met Office issued a yellow warning for virtually the whole of England and Wales, with amber for the whole of the south coast - I think your area is just to the north of the amber area. Very unusual for the Met Office to be issuing an amber warning several days ahead.

Good morning everyone. No spider nightmares last night.

Weather is wet, miserable and dreary.

Not looking forward to the gales, I hate windy weather.

I hope you manage to find something nice for your sister, Skylark.

Squiggle, hubby gave my cake the thumbs up. I may have to hide it to stop him scoffing the lot.

At the dog in the owl costume - it doesn't look impressed.

Have a good day everyone.

@ Mr Yogi. Where you gonna hide the cake Yogi? *Makes plan of action to confiscate some of Yogis cake* *whistles*

Moonie

The storm coming Sunday night/Monday has the potential to be the worst in 20 years and the amber warnings have been widened to cover much of the south half of the country.

I've just rung a client who does commercial and industrial roofing about this but they have already alerted their workforce to make sure that everything is secure.

His latest scam to get another slice of cake, is to tell me we need to eat it quickly before the apples ferment.
