I rarely get the cogs but then I'm here only to the early evening.
and a very, very wet one too! I've not seen such heavy rain in quite some time! Bramble decided she wanted to play instead of letting me sleep in and now I'm wide awake... Yep, she's upside down, snoring and kicking me when she stretches Good morning everyone. Weather is dry atm, although very overcast.

I am going to attempt to make some green tomato chutney for the first time today. Even though we had a relatively good summer, I have quite a few green tomatoes left over and have decided to give the chutney making a go. Wish me luck!

Hi El, the chutney is made. I have no idea whether it will be okay as they don't recommend you taste it at this stage. I'm supposed to store it for three months, before eating.

Congrats on the chutney endeavour Yogi 
By the way, if you are using jam jars for the chutney rather than Kilner jars, they advise you not to use lids which aren't plastic coated on the underneath as otherwise the vinegar will corrode the metal.
