Oh yes i know how she felt. Nana will text me when they have landed safely.

Plenty of soup to go round Summer and all! Made lentil as it keeps better for 2nd day, i think anyway. Enjoy your bath, you've earned a nice soak.

Good afternoon lovely people

I just popped on to say..fankoo muchly for your very kind good wishes. I will be back soon. Dunno if that is good or bad for you all

Yogi, I so hope you are feeling completely well again soon

Sweet glad you missed the rain. I got soaked, twice today

Bliddy sunny now my excursions are over

Anyway, I hope you all have a lovely rest of the day(not grammatically correct, I don't think)

Be back again soon

Moonie

I think a text to say they have landed safely is probably the least worrying way to do it, Skylark. I'm sure she's having a great time.

Your lentil soup sounds delicious! *holds out bowl, Oliver Twist style*

Summer, Keira and I have arrived back from our walk. We couldn't have timed it better, as the rain is just starting.

El, I'm sure your mum appreciated your brother's calls to say he had arrived safely. The problem with children is you never stop worrying about them, no matter how old they are.

Moonie!!!! Yay, welcome back. I hope you will soon be back on a more permanent basis.

Are you taking good care of yourself and eating properly?

I miss my middle son for helping out with dog walking duties, he was brilliant when he lived at home.

Dog walking and helping with computers - oh, and DIY stuff, as hubby is rubbish. He does cook some delicious meals though (just not often enough for my liking).

Yes, it's easier to do the cooking for him, if he's inclined to leave things on - less worrying for you, too.

*night owls* I've been out I went to see the mousetrap at sunderland empire, and very much enjoyed it. I even successfully guessed who the killer was   I'm officially in the mousetrap club now, which means I can't tell you who it was

Moonie! lovely to see that you've popped in, and we see you again real soon. I'm glad you're eating, it'll build your strength.

Skylark, my mum still worries herself sick over us, to the point where I just don't tell her if i have a problem. I know she'll not sleep, give herself indigestion and feel down at bring unable to help. I think it best to just spare her the anguish.
I hope you enjoy catching up with your friend tomorrow

Squiggle, how's the garden looking?

Sweet dreams everyone, see you tomorrow
~Sparkling Summer~

Good morning everyone. It's raining, up here.

Summer, I'm glad you enjoyed Mousetrap and very well done on guessing who the killer was. You are now, officially, our very own Miss Marple.

Moonie, keep stuffing your face and getting your strength back.

As I mentioned last night, I am babysitting PB today and I think it's quite a late pick up, so I doubt I'll be around until late evening. Don't worry Moonie, I'll make sure I get topped up with cuddles.

Have a good day everyone.

Good morning everyone, I hope you enjoy your day both Yogi and Skylark .

Yogi the boys are keeping me busy, granma's taxi you know the thing.  My eldest grandson is taking his CBT for a motorbike tomorrow so if we can find a good second-hand bike that will help.  The garden is slowing progressing although the weather forecast for the next 10 days is rain rain rain so that's not going to help at all.

Well done Summer, official Super Sleuth of the Buddies

Good afternoon is it really 4pm?!
My day has gone by in a whirlwind- the weather is beautiful so everyone who didn't come by early in the week, came by today and on top of that, the schools are striking so we've had a lot of children in!

El, that programme sounds interesting, I imagine you must be enjoying it with it being relevant to your ancestry
~Sparkling Summer~

Evening all. My PB babysitting is over for today. She was in fine form and is as bright as a button. Youngest son was able to visit for a couple of hours in the afternoon, so he topped up on his PB cuddles too.

Skylark, I hope you had a lovely time with your friend.

Squiggle, when my boys were still at home, I used to say I ought to have one of those neon TAXI signs above my car, so I know what you mean.

Good luck to your grandson with his CBT tomorrow.

El, the Rick Stein programme must be especially interesting for you, with the family history involvement.

Summer, I hope you are relaxing now, after your busy day.

Moonie, I hope today has been a good one for you.

I've been lucky tonight; mr summer walked Bramble so I could just relax. I did a little yoga session to stretch out my busy day and then I had a bath.

Aw squiggle maybe we should get you a taxi sign for your car, or a chauffeur's hat for christmas
I'm sure your boys appreciate your effort and will return the favours in kind.

Skylark I too hope you enjoyed your catch up with your friend

Leaving a hug for moonie I hope you've had a bright day today
~Sparkling Summer~
