He really is moonie, our house is modern so the walls are very challenging to fix anything to!
We ended up having to fill holes with appoxy resin, then polfiller and then painting it- and he didn't even swear once!

Fairly cloudy, dry and mild. Looks as if this is the last mild day countrywide.

 

Skylark, your police incident yesterday reminded me of the time I was woken up in the middle of the night by the sound of a dog repeatedly barking. I looked through the curtains to see lots of police cars and police officers. I could see that a suspect was being escorted to the police van by the police and the police dog. Very dramatic. I never found out what it was about.

 

Moonie, I hope all goes well

 

I know some of us have been having posting problems here. Although I am rarely on here in the evenings, I haven't noticed any problems myself. As this is something which affects some but not everyone it seems unlikley that it's a server issue which would affect everyone.

 

I'm with Virgin Media and I know that internet services are regional so that if there is a problem in one town, it can be just that one town rather than across the country.

For those of you on Virgin Media, link to their broadband forum:

You will see that there are frequent threads about problems in differing areas and you may find some reference to your area.

It's also worth doing a broadband speed test to see if you are getting what you expect.

El, I am on Virgin, too. The 'cog/pages slow to load' problem only happened on this site, other sites were fine.

Yogi, I'm as puzzled as you about why this site is coggy for some people and not others. Social Strata has checked their servers for this site and there is nothing unusual. It can't be to do with the adverts slowing things down as VIPs don't get them and Moonie is one. I suggested clearing the browser cache to Moonie but that hasn't had much effect.

And I did realise you were referring to new trousers

This site was coggy for me a few weeks ago, and I'm not on Virgin.  It's been fine the last few days though.

I love those trousers and the jumper is really cute but very pricey.  Your bathroom looks really great Summer.

 

They do help out around the house and the garden Yogi, they are going to tackle a bit right at the bottom where it's got a bit overgrown, it's a big garden for my gardener to tackle all on his own. 

 That's good, Squiggle. My eldest and middle sons liked gardening and were always happy to help out - youngest one wasn't so keen!
