Freddie, an immigrant from Lithuania, has been sent home. He had tried to get back to Lithuania by trying to stow away on a plane but it was bound for the Netherlands

Good morning everyone
Blue sky here at present but may become cloudy later.
Summer, Yogi had gone away from a couple of days and wasn't expecting to be able to post. I think she's due back sometime over this weekend.
Summer, a general chill out this weekend to gain strength for next weekend's mayhem when my brother arrives . Latest I heard on about the Kemble/Swindon rail track was that it was expected to re-open on Monday so he shouldn't have long travel delays.
Good morning everyone, quite a chill in the air today, but much fresher which is lovely.
I love the missing you owl picture, poor Lithuanian immigrant, I hope he's happy now he's home.
I think Yogi should be back later on today.
Wonderful news about no train delays for your brother next weekend EL, good to know you are limbering up preparing for his visit
Have a good day everyone
You may remember I posted at the beginning of the month this picture of a tiny little bird which had been found in Bourton on the Water and taken to Birdlands sanctuary.
It was found by Julie Rogers who works in the village post office. The bird's owner Les Grant has now come forward and claimed the bird. By a strange coincidence he is the postman there. He had been off work for some time recovering from an operation and had only had the bird for 3 days before it escaped. So Julie Rogers didn't know he owned this bird and he hadn't been able to do anthing until now. The bird which is male is one of a pair, has been reunited with the other bird, a female and they are a lot happier now they are back together.
This morning England beat Australia in the last T20 (20 overs each side) match in the series.
This afternoon England beat Australia in the last T20 match in the series.
No typos women's cricket in the morning and men's in the afternoon.
As I buy the food for the main meal when my brother visits, my brother generally brings the cakes. Though I buy the cake for Christmas, Easter and his birthday. So he will be bringing the cakes this time.
PS Congrats on setting a new personal record at 6 this evening
Hi everyone. Everything went well, in fact the day was perfect.
I'm so pleased the little bird was reunited with his mate, I like happy endings.
Nice to have your brother's visit to look forward to, El, and good news about the travel situation.
I need to read back and see what I've missed recently.
Thanks Summer, it was a lovely day. *whispers* check your PMs.
Always good to have another dog lover around.
I don't blame you, you've had a busy week.
Woohoo! Thanks Baz, as you know, I love the gorgeous Rupert.
More or less.
Thank you. I'll go set the V+ to record it.
It did, Baz, it was a brilliant day.
He's one of mine!
Aww, that's a lovely one.
It won't be long before the dark nights are with us.
