Afternoon! sorry I didn't pop in earlier, I had planned a lazy day in the house but woke early and with an urge to go to the beach. When I found out that the weather was overcast but dry and the tide was lowest at a very suitable time, I hopped out of bed and drove straight there! I had this pic for you too...

Squiggle I'm glad you have a plumber you can trust, leaky plumbing worries me, it can cause so much damage! Are you re-doing your bathroom? Decorating mine is my next project, and SIL has been helping me by virtual shopping for pieces for it- she loves browsing shopping sites, I hate it- win win El, how's your shoulder after the lawn mowing?

We love the pic Summer I'm not planning on re-doing the bathroom, redecorating gets difficult and expensive in my situation, I can't DIY any more, my knees aren't up to it and although my grandsons are very willing I don't like to ask them too much.   But the decorating is not too bad in there, but I will need new vinyl now as the base of the new pedestal is smaller than the original one.  Oh well I was getting tired of the old vinyl anyway.  I am glad you have been enjoying your day.

Summer, my shoulder is fine - no effects from the lawn mowing

I would decorate for you if you needed it squiggle I'm sure the improvements will look lovely when finished- is the vinyl easy enough to replace? El, I'm pleased to hear that, I think you've been wise to let it heal properly I've just tidied up a little bit and now I'm puttin my feet up before I Skype my mum

I forgot to mention the Royal photos yesterday! How lovely they are I thought of yogi when I saw that the middleton's golden retriever was snoozing in the background of some of the pics

I know you would sweetheart   I think the vinyl will be easy enough, luckily my eldest grandson has done a bit of carpet laying so he should be able to do it for me once we have bought it.  Enjoy your rest time, I hope you have a lovely conversation with your mum.

 

El you have been very wise and patient in allowing your shoulder time to heal and not strain it while it's healing.

I did notice the Middleton's golden retriever in the background.

 

Keira has been to the groomers and now looks and smells lovely!

Apart from having to wander round the garden centre and shopping centre for 2 and a half hours, waiting for Keira being beautified in the groomers, my day was fine.

Sounds like an interesting day  I bet Keira looks a picture now though 

She looks very pretty and smells lovely, too.

It won't last for long, so I need to appreciate it while I can.

It wont be long when she has rolled on the grass a few times, if she is anything like my nieces dog 

 She sometimes rolls onto her back on the grass and wriggles about - it looks like she's trying to scratch an itch.
