Our youngest sons were in nursery together, and her daughter and my middle son were in the same class at school.

The nursery had asked for some parents to help out at a party but ended up with too many helpers and we weren't needed. It wasn't worth going home, so we went for a coffee in the village cafÃĐ and have been best friends ever since.

Just caught me. Aww that's lovely, it's so good to know they will never let you down. Goodnight again.

Yes moonie, not religiously, but once I discovered I could watch on the iPad app, I tuned in more. (It was a good series, although I felt got a little dull towards the end) I go to bed at 10pm you see and we only have TV in the living room downstairs... My duvet time is far too important to me to stay up late watching bb each night I hope there's some actual celebrities going in this year, I'll watch the launch night

Good morning everyone, and a special big hug for you Han - I didn't watch will catch up today - looking forward to it.

It's a little chilly this morning but promising to be fair later.  Off to a friend's memorial service later, a dear Christian lady of 87 who lost her only daughter to breast cancer about 5 years ago, gathered home by the Lord and happy to be reunited with her and her husband again I am sure.  She was a sweet dear soul and it will be more of a celebration than sadness I am sure.

I hope the service is a fitting tribute to her, Squiggle. May she rest in peace, with her loved ones.

El, Summer and Moonie.

Been out walking with Keira. I think we have made it back just in time, as it looks like the rain isn't far away. It's quite mild though.

Well done Yogi for avoiding the rain

As there is the potential for showers in my area from tomorrow I thought I would cut my lawn this afternoon while it is dry. It's the first time I've done this in the last 8 weeks as I wasn't going to attempt it because of injuring my shoulder. One of my clients is a gardener and I asked him to do it which he did at the end of July. The grass hadn't grown that much since then so it was a quick job. No shoulder twinges to report so that's a good sign that my shoulder is near back to normal though I still try to avoid lifting heavy things.

You were sensible not to mow the lawn when your shoulder was still injured and it's good that you didn't experience any twinges when mowing the lawn today.

I'm sure, as you are continuing to take care, your shoulder will soon be fully recovered.

It went very well Summer, we sang some lovely old hymns, the first of which was when you cross that beautiful shore, and I know she has now crossed that beautiful shore and is in Heaven with Jesus, such a comfort to know she is there, she is young again and able to move without pain, and reunited with her loved ones who have gone before.

Well done EL on mowing your lawn, another step on your way to complete recovery
