 Why not!

I'm going now as I'm starting to wilt. Goodnight Summer, sweet dreams.

Good morning it started out sunny here but has gone cloudy. I'm having a lay in but bramble came upstairs at 8am (amazing it wasn't in the night!) and is very playful this morning I'm hungry too, but my back is loving the lay in What a great owl/moon pic- it's the moon face that made me smile It's lovely to have yogi & moonie back with us I hope church is good today for you both El & Squiggle

At least the gloss will have been dry by 8am, so Bramble won't have stuck to it.

Hehe that is amusing El, and quite arty in it's own right. I think 3D printers are strange, my head just doesn't want to believe it I'm very pleased that your new vicar has settled in nicely, what a lovely time of year to get to know everyone too. I presume people are more sociable in the summer months..? I've just been out with Bramble and seen some lovely dragonflies

Summer, it tends to be quite quiet in August for church social events due to people taking holidays. The main event was yesterday with a Summer Show in Longlevens at the Village Hall and the Community Centre with an exhibition of vegetables, flowers, flower arranging, cookery and crafts split between adult entrants and children entrants. There has also been a flower festival at our church which carried on to today. So it's been a combined community event which was good. Although Longlevens has around 12,000 people, there is still a touch of village community spirit to be found.

Oops! Can you trim the ends yourself?

It's good that your new vicar is settling in well, El.

Was it today that Squiggle was going out for a long drive with family? I hope the weather stayed nice for them.

I did, thanks Summer. My eldest son and Dil came for dinner and I had lots of PB cuddles. She was in a very 'chatty' mood - lots of noises, which had a sort of talking/singing/whinging sound, and made us laugh. She is becoming very vocal now, which is not surprising as we are a very chatty family!

How did your day go, did you get a chance to relax?

I also hope Moonie is back with us soon.
