I hope Moonie is making us a cake - virtual ones are the only cakes I can eat atm. The ones I bought in the shopping are for my weekend visitors.

I'm ashamed to admit that I haven't done the windows. I have done all the mirrors and they are streak-free (more or less!).

Sneaky Bramble. Thankfully, Keira is too big to sit on the window ledge.

Good morning everyone, it's a lovely fresh morning   To me it's been feeling a little humid for the past couple of days and I tend to wilt in high humidity so this is much much better.

Well done on getting the windows done Yogi, naughty Keira though, I bet she would help you clean if she could.

For moonie from all your forum friends

I have to go shopping after work for supplies- I can't wait to go see my best friend tomorrow, we've been looking forward to this weekend since new year! Moonie I hope you rested well last night and soon feel better. I tried to convince bramble to do a get well soon pose for you but she's not cooperating this morning. I'll try again later Yogi, I think a relaxing day is due you any sign of PB this weekend?

Keira hasn't been naughty. Well, not recently.

Are you mixing her up with Bramble, who had been sitting on the window sill and making smudges on Summer's windows?

 I know what you mean.

When Keira was a puppy, I was quite strict on not allowing her to jump up on things or people, as I knew that she'd eventually be a big dog, capable of knocking down kids or elderly people if she jumped on them. She has to be given a direct command of 'UP' before she will get up on anything - and even then, she looks at me as if to say 'are you sure this is okay?'.

I hope you do get back, but if not, you have a good weekend too.

Keira is a good girl bramble waits for the "ok" command if she wants to be up on the sofa with us, but if it's vacant she'll just climb up on it herself now she certainly doesn't have permission to climb on window sills and on the rare occasions she's left home alone, the door to upstairs is closed. Which means she's been on that window sill when I wasn't looking- I wonder if it was when I was in the shower or hanging lay dry etc?

You have reminded me of the dog we had when I was a teenager. My mum had a strict, 'No dogs on the furniture' rule, but we found out (when I peeped in the front window one day) that she climbed up onto the couch for a nap whenever the house was empty. She was so sneaky, as soon as she heard a key in the door, she would jump onto the floor and act all innocent.

I am fed up with Laurel, it's been a very silly storyline, they rigged it so she couldn't even tell the police about her attacker   And as for the Rhona Paddy Vanessa triangle and the drugs am I the only one who's bored rigid with it?

You are not alone, I'm bored with it and don't like the direction it's heading!.

Hi Yogi and squiggle. Missed tonights Emmerdale, the storylines are driving me nuts!
Yes all sorted for E starting school, she is ok but will miss her wee pals from nursery as they are in a different catchment area but i am sure she will settle and make new friends. The only thing now i am looking for is a royal blue hairband, i see M&S have one so another trip into town! I dread it as the festival is on and the town is bursting at the seams!

I don't envy you, wading through the festval tourists.

It's a shame none of her nursery pals are going to the same school but she's such a friendly wee soul I'm sure she'll soon make new friends.
