She is very curious about them! The hunter instinct in her is strong, but for now we won't let her too close to the hutch because they'll be scared having left their litter. I'll train her to not pester them, and never ever give her the chance to be alone with them. She was very good with my bunnies when they were alive. Wish me luck though, I may need it! Any storms there? We've not had any!

I know just what you mean Summer, I think.  I am always convinced that if I did go out and leave it running it would catch fire or something.  My hubby was very cautious about things electrical.  Christmas lights etc are always unplugged before I go to bed, I am amazed when people keep them running all night long, he trained me well.  By the same token I never put a wash on at night.

That's all my errands ran I picked up MIL's ashes on the way home too, they have some beautiful containers these days. We chose one with a bluebell wood on, it's perfect for her. Yogi I'm pleased your appointment went well long may it continue the ferrets nip, but thats because they're playful babies, mr summer says if we handle them a lot now then they'll be very tame as adults One of them is very gentle, the other is a bit more boisterous, that's the only way I can tell them apart at the moment. They are like twins! No moonie today? I wonder how he is I'm going to carry on with some decorating, back in a bit

You may be interested in this recipe for making your own icecream, Apparently it's the oldest writen recipe and was written by Mrs Mary Eales in 1718.

To Ice Cream

Take Tin Ice-Pots, fill them with any Sort of Cream you like, either plain or sweeten’d, or Fruit in it; shut your Pots very close; to six Pots you must allow eighteen or twenty Pound of Ice, breaking the Ice very small; there will be some great Pieces, which lay at the Bottom and Top: You must have a Pail, and lay some Straw at the Bottom; then lay in your Ice, and put in amongst it a Pound of Bay-Salt; set in your Pots of Cream, and 93 lay Ice and Salt between every Pot, that they may not touch; but the Ice must lie round them on every Side; lay a good deal of Ice on the Top, cover the Pail with Straw, set it in a Cellar where no Sun or Light comes, it will be froze in four Hours, but it may stand longer; than take it out just as you use it; hold it in your Hand and it will slip out. When you wou’d freeze any Sort of Fruit, either Cherries, Rasberries, Currants, or Strawberries, fill your Tin-Pots with the Fruit, but as hollow as you can; put to them Lemmonade, made with Spring-Water and Lemmon-Juice sweeten’d; put enough in the Pots to make the Fruit hang together, and put them in Ice as you do Cream.

Luckily for me, Mr Yogi has an ice cream maker, or failing that, I buy it in Morrisons.

*waits for the ice cream van*

Lucky you! The ice cream van only visits my street on a Sunday.
