Sweet and sour chicken hong kong style, with fried rice. Mr Yogi had chow mein. Very tasty.

I might go shopping for shoes and other accessories for the wedding and DiL is coming up at some point to pick up H. He was supposed to get picked up tonight but they phoned to ask if he could stay over.

Moonie seems to have disappeared. Maybe he has gone to get some cereal.

Forecast to be another warm and sunny day here, hot tomorrow, then the heatwave breaks down with lower temperatures, rain, thunderstorms, pestilence, a plague of frogs, locusts etc.

 

Moonie was having a visitation from Will Robinson yesterday evening, hence the disappearance. Hopefully that's a one off.

"Fish Police" son fitted a new pump in my tank yesterday. When I got up this morning, it wasn't working. Cue frantic phone call to son, who was able to talk me through how to fix it. Phew! He'd have jailed me for manslaughter if the fish had died!

Squiggle, I sincerely hope we don't get and of the biblical plagues. Quite a coincidence that I mentioned those and you've been reading about them.

 

Not about the plagues but about the film Exodus. The film directed by Otto Preminger is known for being long and rather stodgy. When the film was premiered, after nearly 3 hours and no sign that the film was coming to an end the comedian Mort Sahl stood up in the packed theatre and shouted "Otto, let my people go!"

 I remember the film, Exodus - probably because it had my favourite film star, Paul Newman, in it.

I wonder if PB had been a boy he would have been BB which would then match this forum

I remember the film which I've only seen once as being extremely long and extremely boring
