Youngest son is good, thanks.

Glad you've had a nice time with your mum.

I got kicked out again so I'm going to sign out now. Goodnight Moonie and Summer, see you tomorrow.

Goodnight Yogi. Sleep well and have sweet dreams

Moonie

Good morning everyone. Weather is warm and sunny.

Last night was stifling hot and made it difficult to sleep. We had the ceiling fan on but it was useless and simply pushed the hot air around.

Mr Yogi is going out to cut this grass before it gets too hot. What a difference from last year when it rained so much!

Love last night's night owl, Summer.

We are minding Big H today, so Keira will be very happy.

Have a good day everyone.

Good morning everyone, hope it's not too hot where you all are.  It must be hot as I have moved to plan B and dug out the air coolers, I've got one on a timer in the bedroom to come on and make the bedroom cooler and no doubt I shall be running the one down here this afternoon.  I hate it when it gets humid which it is threatening to do.

My recommendation for today   Have a good day everyone

 Great smiley, Squiggle.

I have suggested to hubby that we look into buying an air cooler, as the fans aren't enough to combat this really hot weather.

They are very efficient Yogi, you bung cold water in the reservoir (some people use ice cubes I hear but cold water seems to work well) and the air coming out is icy so if it gets really hot the ceiling fan or other fan is circulating really cool air.  Cheap to run, cheap to buy, well we bought ours about 5 or 6 years ago and they were cheap to buy then, probably won't have gone up much.

I'll check them out, thanks Squiggle.

I'm back from my shopping and replacing my copy of this week's Radio Times as the one I bought a few days ago had missed out many pages and had substitued them with duplicate of another section. I've also had a session with the new vicar going through what happens at tomorrow's morning service as it's a bit different to the services at different times.

It seems to be a bit cloudier and not quite as hot today as it has been. Sunday a bit warmer, really hot on Monday, but then temperatures seem to start going down to more typical temperatures but there's an increased risk of thunderstorms or showers.

Yogi, my shoulder is virtually back to normal though I will still be cautious not to overdo it

Moonie, I'm not aware of others having coggy problems now and on my computer things are definitely back to normal and I'm not having the sort of problems I and others had yesterday. The first thing to try is clearing your browser cache to see if that sorts things out. If you don't know how to clear your browser cache let me know which browser (like Firefox, Internet Explorer) you are using.

Empty the cache is the box you need to tick, the other boxes clear other things.

Hot and sunny up here. Fortunately, my back garden is shady in the afternoon, so it isn't too hot for the dogs. I'm still having to refill their water bowl every couple of hours though.

That's good It's worth remembering the clearing cache tip as when the browser cache gets full it does cause odd problems - you should also find that getting on to other websites is a bit quicker.
