The amazing thing EL is that they didn't know the dog.   Well I can only put Tilly's 'homing instinct' down to God's hand upon her.  If she had been picked up by the dog warden the cost would have been ÂĢ44 plus ÂĢ13 every day she was kept by the kennels, they would have struggled to pay.

"The Railway Children is set in the Edwardian period and trains and access to railway property are very different today," the censor said.

"The film also demonstrates the potential harm to children if proper care is not taken."

As a child, The Railway Children was my youngest son's favourite book and film.

I'm pleased to see the BBFC made a sensible judgement re the complaint.

Squiggle, how lucky that Tilly turned up ay your friends' house. I'm so pleased little Miss Mischief came to no harm.

Thank you for the goodies. I love, love, love scones!

Pretty much the same, she'll walk any time, any weather but we prefer to keep her walk to early & later if we can. On the hot days I only take her to toilet during lunch break, and then we sit in the shade to eat. I miss the longer walk but I don't want to over heat her I wonder if Moonie is feeling any better? I hope he's resting up

I hope he soon feels well enough to come back and post with us. I don't like to think of him being under the weather.

I have a great big grin on my face, after watching that clip.

Good morning Summer, hope you are having a good day, be careful of the sunshine mind

I have got the little jobs out of the way before the heat really kicks in.  I have cleaned the outside of the little utility room extension, it has plastic cladding on which gets very green, I'm not sure whether it's to do with living near the sea but it's horrible mucky stuff.  I'm filling up the pond, I've skimmed it as well to get rid of some funny green stuff (it's my green stuff morning ) and rescued one large newt, one baby and one tiny thing which I think is a baby newt still in the process of turning into a newt if you get my drift.  Then I will transfer the hose to start sprinkling the top lawn.

Does Bramble like the heat? Where I was yesterday she had a small long-haired collie and she looked dead miserable in the heat poor thing.  She wanted to greet all the visitors but her mum tucked her up inside for most of the afternoon,

Well done squiggle on your progress with the little jobs

Summer, my shoulder isn't too bad now. I've been off the painkillers for the past few days as I don't need them and am continuing to do the exercises. I will need to remain careful with the shoulder for some weeks not to start trying to lift really heavy things which might reverse the process.

Moonie, I hope you are starting to feel better

You are a very busy bee today squiggle!! I hope the green stuff clears off easily enough and that you can stop for refreshments too. My mum is arriving on Wednesday so I'll be busy frantically cleaning the house before she comes! There's nothing like having a visitor come to stay to make you have a thorough clean up El, that's very good news about your shoulder, well done for doing your exercises properly one of my colleagues frequently complains of a sore back but missed her physio appointment because she couldn't be bothered to go that day, I just don't understand that
~Sparkling Summer~

Summer, next time your colleague tries to make a physio appointment she may find that she has to wait longer than she wants to as they won't take too kindly to people who mess them about for no good reason.

I once had a client where I had arranged to go to their house on the other side of town at a specific day & time something like 10am on Monday morning, got there to find no-one was in and left a card saying I had been but no reply. The wife rang a day later with the excuse that they had had to go out to buy a bed or something like that. Although I did the accounts that year, after that we parted company.

I'm sure you and Mr Summer will make the right choices for her.

I need to sign out now, goodnight Summer, sweet dreams.

Moonie, in case you are reading this, I'm sending you a big Get Well Soon hug.

Good morning everyone. Weather is dry and bright, although not as hot as the last few days.

Summer, that owl is so cute! I may need to go on a hunt for patterns for knitted animals/ birds now!

Middle son (fish police) is visiting this afternoon, so I need to make sure everything is in order with the fish tank.

Have a good day everyone.
