No, mr summer went tonight yogi, and I haven't convinced him to let me go in his place tomorrow. I think he wants to be there as much as possible at the moment. I'll keep offering to give him a day off!

It's understandable that he wants to go, and at least he knows you are there when he wants a break.

I think the tablets must be working as I don't have the persistent pain that I had at the beginning of the week.

 

I've just returned from doing a spot of shopping at the local Co-op so don't have to go out again until next week.

I have been called one of those Yogi 

The physio from the local Physio Direct rung me while I was having lunch. After doing various movements she confirmed that it was the left rotator cuff section of the shoulder which was the problem. She gave me an exercise to do which she acknowledged was a bit painful but necessary to do to promote healing and avoid getting a frozen shoulder, and to keep on with the painkillers. She'll send me notes in the post and said to get in touch with her direct if there are no improvements in a couple of weeks.

At least that's moving forward El 

That sounds promising, I hope the exercises help.

My gas cooker has been condemned to death by that nasty council man during the yearly gas safety check 

Oh no!  Is he certain it can't be resuscitated?

Nope, the burners are burnt though Yogi 

 Do you have to replace it immediately?

I have an extended warranty somewhere  I shall search for it though I think it is unrepairable tbh. But may be able to get some off a new if it gets condemned by the warranty company  Meanwhile the microwave will get some use 

Aww you can cook quite a few things in a microwave.

Moonie, I think the council man would only condemn the gas cooker because there is a risk of a gas leak/explosion or if the cooker was burning so inefficiently that it was creating carbon monoxide. So no matter how inconvenient it is, don't use it - it's better to be inconvenienced rather than dead.

 You can google microwave recipes. You can then post pics of your culinary microwave masterpieces.

 Better to be safe than sorry.

Oh yes El and I wouldn't have had it any other way  I would rather it be  condemned that cause death or injury for anyone in the the house or next door either side
