It's been raining since yesterday evening here but seems to be drying up.

Good morning everyone, it's been drizzling here but I am pleased in a way because we put the lawn feed down on Tuesday and it will help it get the grass in good condition.  Hope no-one's plans get ruined, it's sad if anyone had planned a barbie.  Have a good day everyone

My headphones which should cut the worst of the noise next weekend have arrived - advertised to cut down the noise by 81%

I will be interested in hearing how they work EL.  No wish to pry but I have heard they are expensive.  One of the things I treasure most about where I live is it is so tranquil and peaceful, I know it wouldn't suit everyone but I love it.  I rarely listen the radio because I prefer the peace and the birdsong.  That's one thing I used to find about flying, the constant drone of the engines I found it disturbing and found it hard to drop off to sleep.  I know some people use those headphones for just that purpose.

Squiggle, the ones I got cost £40 including postage. In the range I got there is a more powerful one but that costs just over £100.

My day was fine. I managed to get my haircut, while the great-grand parents cooed over PB and my middle son came for a visit in the afternoon.

We may well yet have a summer  the thing is will it be this year or next?
