Yogi, that's brilliant news about finding an outfit what colour did you go for? What colour bag & shoes are you looking for? MIL was very cheerful tonight, we got her hair straightened so she's happy, then we watched the federer match together- it was unbelievable!

Looks as if it will be a cloudy day here with rain by evening.

 

One of the strangest days ever at Wimbledon. In the men's singles, in Andy Murray's half the next highest surviving seed is the number 15 so on paper he should be expected to get to the final but that counts for little this year. Andy Murray's decision to withdraw from the French Open does seem to have been wise as that's enabled him to regain his strength and concentrate on playing on grass courts (the French court is played on clay and finished on June 9 so only a 2 week gap to recover from the French Open and get used to grass courts).

El, it has been a strange wimbledon so far, with top seeds dropping like flies. Fingers crossed it bodes well for Murray.

 

My male blackbird has been bringing his two babies to the garden to be fed. He has obviously taken good care of them as they are both bigger and fatter than him!

 

Got to do the weekly grocery shopping in the afernoon, otherwise no plans for today. Have a good day everyone, despite the weather.
