Similar weather here to yesterday, cool and windy, and there may be a few showers. Weather forecast for the Wimbledon period seems to be OK - no sign of a heat wave but not a wash out.

The iPhone lets me snapshot the screen, crop the pic and then upload via photobucket it's a beautiful window, and perfect for a Sunday morning It's overcast with sunny spells here, mr summer has gone clay shooting and I just finished my book (at long last) while bramble curls up on my legs. She's a little off colour, probably from eating something disgusting whilst out walking, or drinking pond water again. Who's going to be tuning in to Wimbledon?

Summer, thank you for that and I hope Bramble gets back to normal quickly

 

I've now found out that the stained glass window is in Iffley Church near Oxford. It was created by John Piper in 1995.

 

There's an account of someone's journey to the church. It's worth reading and some of the photos are very attractive.

I am awake now Yogi  but still tired  We have a gale and rain here. Its cold too  I hope its better where you are 

Hi Moonie. The weather here isn't much better. It's been raining, on and off, all day and the wind toppled my parasol and swing seat!

Although it's been windy all day there's been no rain here at all. Yet at Edgbaston (less than 50 miles away) where the cricket final is being played has been showers for most of the day.

 nooooooo! Hope the swing and parasol aren't damaged Yogi 

Its supposed to get warmer in the coming week

You are lucky to have missed the showers, El.

I have put the parasol away and the swing seems okay.

Hopefully, I'll get a chance to use both, if the warmer weather does arrive next week.

No visitors tonight, so I'm off for a bath and to get my PJs on before BB at 9pm.
