I must confess that I was laughing to myself as I uploaded them The one I bought was a typical green, dull watering can. But the veg patch is looking good so that's all that matters

On the subject of breakfast cereals. I eat porridge every day. I buy the big bags of oats. However m'dear wife has a habit of buying stuff on a whim. My pantry controlling attitude won't allow me to have partly consumed boxes of stuff, so I end up having to finish off all sorts of rubbish. Her latest fad was nut granola. I do like Grape Nuts though. Special K, I think, liked to pass itself off as some sort of healthy food and it obviously wasn't.

My dad used to eat Scott's Porage Oats decades ago but then went on to Shredded Wheat and sometimes Rice Crispies.

 

My mother didn't like milk other than in tea and coffee so her breakfast was toast or Ryvita.

I love cereals! I like the apple & blueberry porridge you can get, in winter mostly. I frequently have cereal for tea, usually something fun like crunchy nut cornflakes or weetos El, did your mum like white or brown toast?

Hi everyone. Flying visit, I'm afraid.

Squiggle, I did eat Special K original but not any more. The 80% increase in fibre would not be good for me. I'll stick to corn flakes for the moment.

As a Scot, you might think I would eat porridge but I can't. It makes me feel sick, even before I get it into my mouth! The dog loves it though.

I was a Quaker Oats person myself. It had to be that thick it would cling to the spoon though 

Summer, my mother only ever ate white bread as did my father. My brother always has white bread when he visits me though I think he does have brown at home sometimes.

I only ever eat wholemeal bread. From time to time I change which type. At present it's Warburtons stoneground wholemeal batch.

Babysitting duties are over for today. Lots of PB cuddles - and so many smiles and goos/coos.

Moonie, I'm really glad your back is a bit easier. I know how constant, nagging pain can bring you down. Hopefully, tomorrow will be even better.

Summer, did your MiL get on her little trip around the hospital yesterday, and did it raise her spirits?

El, I love wholemeal bread but really should avoid it as it tends to aggravate my digestive problems. 

Looking forward to the first BB eviction tonight. Keeping everything crossed that rent-a-mouth Sallie is first to go.

It was lovely, Moonie - and I didn't have to fight Mr Yogi for cuddle time, as he was at work. 

Keira made me laugh today, she twice fetched a toy from her toy box (yes, my dog has a toy box!) and tried to present the toy to PB. Nice to know she doesn't mind sharing her toys.

Yep Yogi  We did have a short sharp shower that lasted a couple of minutes but then wall to wall sunshine. Glad you had sunshine too 

The pupils don't seem very interested though
