 I have to show this pic to my DiL. I was telling her today that we refer to my granddaughter as the pink bundle.

Despicable Me is an excellent animated film! The main chap is called Gru, he's a villan he's in competition to be the worst villan ever, and so hatches a plan to steal the moon, which involves adopting 3 little girls. But Gru is softened by them and becomes a lovable villan, it's great fun!

Does she like the name?

I like happy endings where good defeats evil.

Despicable Me 2 comes out at the end of the month, I don't yet know the plot but I can't wait to see it

One day when she is older you will telling her "we used to call you little pink bundle" and she will blush 

 It is the responsibility of parents and grandchildren to embarrass the children.

But wait till she is a teenager and with her mates too. Maximum embarrassment factor 

 Believe me, her dad will embarrass her loads - "little pink bundle" will be the least of her problems.

As it is Father's Day, we are expecting visits from sons, otherwise a chill-out day. My own dad is sunning himself abroad (with my mum) so I won't see him until he gets back.

Good morning everyone, we are in for a lot of rain down here in the South West.

 

I didn't fancy Despicable Me until my hairdresser recommended it and I loved it, so silly.

 

Squiggle, I hope the rain in your area doesn't cause any travel problems. The band of rain does stretch into the southern part of Gloucestershire but seems to miss where I am, but I wouldn't guarantee it.

I am so glad that Mr Summer is feeling better and can visit his mum today, it must have been awful for both of them at a time when she is so unwell.

We have had some sunshine today but mostly cloudy. Thankfully no rain, as yet though 

There was a bit of rain here early afternoon but it's been mainly dry though cloudy.

 

That Rick Wakeman concert took place yesterday in Gloucester but as it was on a smaller scale than originally expected I didn't hear any of it. I did hear something on Thursday and Friday evenings and via Google found what they were. At the Kingsholm rugby stadium, the Thursday one was McFly and the Friday one Ronan Keating.

It's been mostly sunny with the odd cloudy spell, up here. Hope you've had a good day, Moonie.

No pink bundle today, as her dad is working. She was here yesterday and is coming tomorrow night too.

Middle son and his fiancée and youngest son visited today.

Less than 24 hours to wait for a 'cuddles top-up' then? 

It's nice for you they are all so close so can drop in at any time 

Yes, less than 24 hours for my top up cuddles.

All of them live within a 6 mile radius, so we usually see them once or twice a week.
