Good morning although it's not mr summer has picked up a hospital bug and has been ill all night. He's even called in sick at work and I've never ever ever EVER known him do that! Thank goodness we have more than 1 loo, I won't need to disturb him. I had just convinced him to take a day off from visiting to rest up, and now he definitely can't go in until he's well clear of that bug- 48 hours after it's clear isn't it?! There's posters all over the hospital about it, I'll check properly today. Meanwhile, I'm laying in! and I'm staying here for a good 2 hours! with my doggy asleep next to me too I hope you all sleep well, shall I find us some breakfast to set us all up for the day..

Good morning everyone

Cloudy and windy here, rain forecast for later.

Summer, I'm sorry to hear that Mr Summer has gone down with a bug and hope he feels better soon. With norovirus, people are advised to avoid direct contact with people for at least 48 hours after the symptoms have gone.

Thanks for the yummy breakfast

Your Cassels encyclopedia was originally published in 1922 at the same time as my Harmsworth so would have been in direct competition with each other. Yours looks in better condition than mine

Thanks El, that's very interesting! They were published 3 years before my grandmother was born Thanks for the link about the oldest man too, I couldn't possibly have guessed how to spell his name Yogi, I had just about convinced mr summer to have a rest day from hospital duty today, because he needs a break so yes I was planning on taking over today anyway I'm scared I'll catch the virus off him though, my mum says it's very contagious El, I thought it was 48 hours I'm sure I've read it on posters all over the hospital. God speed his recovery and thank goodness MIL is in hospital and not being cared for at home, at least we know she'll be looked after

Oh no that's all Mr Summer needs.  It's been a very stressful time for you all.  Thank you for the lovely breakfast too Summer.  It's quite breezy here and rainy from time to time.

Your super power sounds like my dad Yogi, he never just watched the TV, he always read a paper at the same time.  Heaven knows what he would be up to with all this new technology if he was still with us

That's bad

It makes me mad too, especially as those same people probably have awful toilet habits.

You can count on it, Squiggle.

I'm sure your dad would have been multi-tasking along with me, had he been with us now.

I'm working on that big client job which will keep me busy for the next few weeks. It's early days yet on that. I'm doing work on the reports I need and have yet to even open the first of the 4 boxes of files.

Great cakes moonie

Summer, I've been doing that job for quite a lot of years so I am used to how to deal with it. Because their accounting system is rather unusual it takes someone like me who is familiar with the system to do the work reasoanably efficiently. It helps that I've know the accounting staff there for years.
