Will be back later.

Most of them have Oriental/tribal symbols. Mr Yogi kids them on that they translate as "chicken fried rice and beef chow mein".

Where I used to work one lady had a chinese tattoo and my boss, who used to work in Hong Kong, was casually asked at a works do if he knew what it stood for, the cheeky thing said it was a sell by date and named a time in the past, how rude

Rude, but very funny!

How is your grandson's shoulder, is there any update on his treatment?

In other news, my female blackbird is back today. I'm so relieved that both are alive and well.

I am glad the female blackbird is back, they knew when to make themselves scarce and knew when to come back.  What happened to the pair that you thought had taken their place?

I answered above about my grandson

Oooh, what a wonderful shop, I would spend hours and a small fortune in there!

I've noticed they have an online shop, too. *goes off to browse*

Too late, I have a list!

Although, I will need to wait until she's a wee bit older.

Think you can keep yourself in check till then Yogi?

That shop has been there virtually my whole life and I remember going there when I was a bit lot younger.

I am soooo jealous. I loved Beatrix Potter books and so did my sons.

Sorry Squiggle, I missed your earlier post about your grandson.

At least they have started some treatment now, and the fact that he is managing some manual work does sound promising. I hope things continue to get better for him.

The other pair of blackbirds haven't been around. Maybe they were only passing through.

I'm just off to a client meeting  but this one should be quite short and straight forward.

I'm back from that client meeting which was as straightforward as I expected. As I was walking back to my car I saw another client so went to have a chat with him He told me that he was doing dome gardening for an elderly woman and her sister was there visiting her. As I have known the sister through church for many years I popped in to the garden to have a chat with them. That's why I haven't done much work this afternoon

I have reported myself to myself for skiving during working hours. This isn't the first time it's happened and so I have decided to sack myself, and will now make a claim against myself for unfair dismissal.

Nothing wrong with an occasional bit of skiving, El.

True, but I could pay myself redundancy pay, claim tax relief against my profit for the amount paid, and provided the redundancy payment was less than ÂĢ25k I wouldn't have to pay tax.

And before anyone thinks that's a good tax dodge, it wouldn't work as I'm not an employee.
