Good morning everyone
100% cloud cover here and damp, likely to be raining for most of the day and temperature way below average. Should be better tomorrow.
Cute tiny little owl, Summer
Good morning everyone, it's a washed clean morning out there Lots of rain and wind overnight but all is calm now and there's even a bit of blue sky. I love the little baby owl Summer.
Have a good day everyone
Good morning everyone. Weather is a bit brighter here today.
I'm going out now but will be back late afternoon. Have a good day everyone.

Hi - I've been out most of the morning at a client, having a quick lunch, then out again to see another client this afternoon - I'll catch up when I get back

Glad your business is doing so well El Enjoy your lunch
Last night I was sitting here on my lappy and I heard a double bleeping sound. I knew it couldn't be my lappy battery as I had it plugged into the mains. Re-booted it just in case it was lappy orientated. It came back on but still the double bleeping sound went on every 2 minutes or so.
I discovered it was one of my mobile phones that was telling me the battery wanted re-charging

Everything beeps nowadays - phones, laptops, ipads, fridges, microwaves and dishwashers - no wonder it was difficult to track down the source of the beeping.
I've been to a bird of prey sanctuary today. The ticket was actually a gift from my eldest son and DiL for my birthday but I have just only recently got round to booking it. I had the whole experience, which consisted of an educational talk, a flying display and an up close encounter with the birds. You may remember I went once before with my eldest son when he was given a ticket as a Christmas gift. On that occasion, I was only there to take some pics for him and didn't take part.
The centre staff stress that they are an educational centre rather than one where the birds are taught to perform, so it's as close as you can get to watching the birds' natural behaviour, unless you were watching them in the wild. The guy who did the talk was very passionate about protecting birds of prey, and animal conservation in general. He was also very funny!
Afterwards, Mr Yogi took me out for some lunch. All in all, a lovely day.

That sounds like a lovely experience Yogi, a real chance to glimpse wild birds, things like that you never forget.

The phone was only 3 feet away though Yogi
I remember going to our local Sandwell Show(craft fares, market stalls, childrens play area, old vehicles, funfair and so on) several years ago. They had a display performed by all sorts of birds of prey, from an American Bald Eagle to a Kestrel. Beautiful creatures. You should have seen the size of the eagles talons
There was motor bike displays and even men an women riding chariots dressed in Roman attire. The weather was beautiful and great day was had by all.
Glad you had a good time Yogi
I got two, one to use and for spare Neither is one of these touch screen interney thingies though. Just your ordinary key type
The bird of prey centre had loads of birds including different breeds of Eagles, Owls, Buzzards, Kestrels, Falcons, Crows and a fabulous Rueppell's Griffon Vulture called Gandalph (it's a female!). They also have a pair of kookaburra(sp) some McCaws and a rescued Magpie. I've added the link below:
You are doing a great job, Summer.
