See you later Yogi

Great smileys. I've hoovered and polished the bedrooms, stacked the dishwasher and put a load in the washing machine. Oh, nearly forgot, I've made a beef casserole, too.

Well done for sorting it, before the wind did even more damage.

I'm surprised our shed is still standing let alone the felt is still on it El

Much the same here though not much rain yet. The felting on my shed roof seems secure at least for the time being. On the other hand the felt on the shed in my back neighbour's garden is in the process of coming off. It's not in a good condition and is in bits. It tends to come off whenever it's windy and he just nails the bits back.

He doesn't sound like a keen DIY-er, El.

I think it more likely he doesn't want to spend money on properly refelting it. A pity, because the side panelling looks to be OK.

That's a shame.

You could suggest he enters it for the Tate Modern art competion, sounds more interesting than Tracy Emin's unmade bed.

Batons from apex to roof edge and batons under roof edge to secure felt. Saves on nails

 Good advice, Squiggle.

Signing out early tonight. Mr Yogi has been away for a few days and is due home soon. I shall wait with Keira to give him a warm welcome home.

Goodnight all, see you tomorrow.

Leaving a hug for Summer.

Lovely set of owls Sweet  Nitey nite Sweet and moody Bramble   Sleep well. See you tomorrow

Moonie

Good morning everyone, a better day here, I hope it is for you all too.

I love that larger version of the owls picture EL, what a clever lady.  Does anyone else think that design would make lovely curtain material for a child's bedroom?

Summer is Bramble moody because she is in season do you think, or has she reached the teenage moodiness stage?

Carol Eldridge is a commercial designer in the States and her designs are used there. She did some owl ornaments based on the above which were displayed on trees in all the Macy's Department stores:
