she Is in my bedroom being hand fed I can tell you are a kindred spirit where animals are concerned .. she Is so loved as is the dad ...thankyou xx all ideas are welcome AS Its the first for me ..no sleep so she cares for the little darling and I assure you with the vet Yogi this Is a drain I do not need Its cost a fortune up to now ...but whatever I will try and ensure he survives ,

Aw Frodo that's a bit of a shock for you! I hope your doggy perks up soon, she must be wondering what on earth is going on bless her. Is the puppy taking her milk? And what kind of breed are they? Will you keep the pup? I love dogs

To you again Yogi honestly I dont know at the moment cos I'm in shock 

two dogs and now this ..

In our house the dogs are part of the family they are part of us ..ermm if this was private perhaps I may go into detail cos I think I know you maybe love animals as I do .

 

anyhow its a no breed just tiny dogs the mum my little darling cost £250 

 

but I would never sell him a loving home would do the trick 

At least they're not huge dogs Frodo, i think 3 huge dogs would take up so much space!

My dog is my family too Frodo, I honestly don't know what I did with my time before I got her!

I completely agree, dogs are part of the family and I know, when you feel the time is right, you will find someone who will love and take good care of the pup.

Lol don't tempt me, I'd have it I'd love a second one, but I'd like it to be my Bramble's pup. I'd be very strict who I'd let have a puppy off her though, I'd be round the house interviewing the family and inspecting the house

 Summer is very special and Bramble is a really lucky dog to have a home with her.

My daughter has a new job and she got a wage slip today and has paid £44,20 tax on £221,90 wages  in the tax code box it says OT/O does this mean an emergency tax code has been used?

She's got 2 part time jobs and she wasn't taxed on the other and my dad just rang me and said I wonder if she's been taxed for both jobs combined, she only does this new job in the college holidays,  she loves it Sumner it's teaching disabled children sport

It might be because she has 2 jobs Aimee. One time they thought I had 2, and wanted to tax me for every pound I earned! Luckily it got straightened out with a quick call. I'm guessing the emergency tax code is more likely though. Well done her for being a hard worker

That sounds as if she didn't complete the starter declaration form as 0T is the code used in that situation. It means, as you realise, that 20% tax is deducted on her total wage with no personal allowance. She will need to ring the tax office which deals with that job's PAYE to tell them about her situation. Note that the tax rules which used to apply to student employees ceased as from 6 April and they are now treated as any other employee.

It will need to be your daughter who rings them, they won't speak to anyone else unless you pretend to be her and answer their security questions (such as national insurance number which will be needed, and possibly address, employer, date of birth type of questions). They are likely to want to know level of income from both jobs.

^ that's true, when I had my muddle they would only speak to me, not my employer I've been to the beach it started off cloudy here but the sun has burned through and it's now a lovely day! I hope all of you have good weather this afternoon too

It's been a pleasant day all day here

Evening all. I think you've all had milder weather than me. It's been cool and cloudy today.

 

Frodo, I hope you have managed to get some sleep, and the little pup and his mum are doing well.

 

You may remember my pair of blackbirds, which come to the kitchen window, looking for food. They usually turn up between 4-6 times a day, but there has been no sign of them since Thursday. I can't believe how much I am missing them.

 

Still no Skylark and Moonie. Hope they are both okay.
